Two tone gray '84 auto $4000
SOLD!
On ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/291496257322...84.m1555.l2649
Lowered to $3500 before ebay.
Guess it's about ebay time!
The wife and I are getting old enough now that getting out of our '84 is getting difficult for us. Regrettably we are selling our two tone gray '84. It has an auto trans, K&N filter, the GOOD wagon wheels made for the 84s wrapped in pretty decent Kumho 275/40/17 tires and new carpet. We deleted the breadbox when we installed the carpet but we have the breadbox in case the buyer wants to put it back in.
This is NOT a show car but IS a driver. We had a cheapie paint job put on that looks good from 10 feet away. Like I say it is a driver. We have had several comments on how good it looks. We have Iggy seat covers on it because we replaced the seats with charcoal ones and they were too dark with the gray interior.
We are in west central Indiana halfway 'tween Terre Haute and Indianapolis. (In the middle of nowhere!)
IMG 0901a Looks pretty even with a little slush on it.
IMG 0900a Looks good to me.
IMG 0902a Home at last. Now to clear the ice out of the doorway!

I was going to back it out and wash the dust off and take some fresh pics after I mowed the grass. But the battery was low from setting without being started for the last two months. So I just hooked the battery charger up and shut the door!

Well I found out my old battery charger has bit the dust! And it's only 30 years old or so!
Anyways, I backed the vette out and took some fresh pics of the engine and interior.
Engine all warmed up and cooling fan on. Stock except for a K&N air filter.
Dash all works. I sent this out when I first bought the car and had it resoldered.
And it still runs down the road.
Here's a pic of the new carpet.

Part of it is my fault. I don't sugar coat anything. That's why I have NEVER had a complaint about what I sell. I SHOULD have said that this is an awesome car that has never given me problems. With new paint carpet, cat-back exhaust, seat covers, K&N air filter and Mobile one synthetic every oil change since I bought it. And this would also be true.

It has 105,XXX miles on it. I am straight out US36 west of Danville south off of 36. West of Heritage Lake and east of Bainbridge. About 25-30 miles west of I-465.

BTW: This also comes with a box (small) of extra parts. I think I have an extra wiper motor, the original antennae with a new chain to rebuild it. I think I have an anti rattle kit for the doors. Anything else I find will go in the box too. The breadbox won't fit in the box, but will come with it.

This is just stupid. How the hell could this still be for sale? Next time some n00b tells me they got a "great deal" on some $3000 project, I will think of this car. Wish I could put it next to mine.

My first vette was the "Theft-Recovery" vette that we bought without an engine/tranny. Altho it was fun working on that car, it has been much more fun to DRIVE this one!
If I had it to do all over again, my first vette would be a running car that I could enjoy.
