Default 1996 ce $6500

Thought it was sold but buyer never came through, I became disgusted and let go the idea of selling. It's not being used much at all and represents money which could be used for better things.
I'm ready for flames and such but here goes. The price is $6500 it now has just under 80,000 miles. Here are the links to my original post plus photobucket picture folders:

yeah I bought it to match my 27K mi. CE conv. same color interiors, now I have to come up with 6500 frog skins and my wife just can't understand why I would want a coupe to match my convert. I am trying to convince her that this will be the "fun" car, especially with that 3:73 rear end gear.

This is NUTS!!!! Do you all realize that you cant get a used up 10 year old honda accord for 6500 bucks!!! These cars like this in this shape and miles is worth 10 GRAND!!! For 6500, I'm going to have to invest in 2 or 3 super low mileage cars and use them for daily drivers.

I'm surprised to find I'm on a emotional roller coaster about this transaction.

I find it hard to believe this was not snapped up on the first day. If I was not on the west coast the car would be mine.

Wow vrone, and I thought that car was a steal before. Now its flat out bank robbery. I'm flabbergasted this didn't sell before coming all the way down to $6500.

Agreed.
It looks like the magic number was under $7000. Could be due to my location, who knows.

Am waiting for the pick up this afternoon and it's gone.

Congrats on the sale. I know the buyer and they are a long time Corvette enthusiast. Car is going to a great home.

Default Arrived

The car arrived and it now sits by my garage next to my 96 CE 27K original conv. and my 65 conv. Car runs fantastic and it looks the same. Thanks again for a smooth transaction and even putting in some extras like the 2 repair manuals and more. One really interesting note is that this car originally sold in the Sarasota, FL area and was licensed in Bradenton which is the same office I will be using so the car really did "come home".
