1984 4+3 Z/51 for sale
1984 Corvette Z/51 that is ready to go. 96,000 miles. 350 4 speed std. with overdrive. Power seats, mirrors, windows. AC, heated side mirrors, Bose Stereo, power antenna. Bilstein shocks, new BFG G-force tires, all new carpet, weather stripping, battery and more. Performance exhaust, chip, ported intake, 1.6 roller tip rockers and a couple other performance enhancements.
The original un-ported intake goes with it.
Also includes the factory shop manual, build sheet, window sticker, owners manual, year old Noah car cover and a ton of other memorabilia and receipts.
Great shape, and runs great.
The ONLY reason I am selling this is that I just bought a new one.
Asking $7,800.00 on Craig's List, but I'd sell it for $6,800.00 to anyone on this site -I really hope to sell it to someone that will appreciate this first year C4.

If I didn't have so much on my plate right now I'd buy it to keep my 90 company. I still love 84s and really want another one. Good luck with the sale and enjoy your new Stingray!

I will miss it and am in the same boat -too much on the plate and I still have my other two cars, so this one would just sit there. Even my wonderful wife said, how can we sell it.

Did you buy this from Robert -if so, it may be my old Z51. I had sold it to him about 5 years ago. Let me know and I can provide some details on why the motor looks stock, but it runs better.

I bought it from guy who bought it from Robert. Robert has had it over 2 years, second guy 6 months and me - 2 years. After 5 years from leaving US 'she' looks so pretty. From technical point of view, there is small leakage between gearbox and engine (very small ), and I have problem with clutch ( or fork ). When it is hot and car is running over 30 minutes there is some 'knock knock' from the clutch - I saw that You had similar problem in Your previous posts :-). I send some more pictures from renovation process - I decided to remove all previous paints layers - it seems that there were 3 layers of red colour :-) We have plan to finish till mid of August - then I will share with final effect.
PS. Glen, what did You modify in that 350? It drives not as 205 hp :-)
PS2. Above foto is before renovation :-)
Regards,
Andrzej

Wow very nice!
The things done are listed in the original ad, but the performance stuff is as follow:
* 1.6 ratio roller tip rockers.
* Port matched intake to heads. The ports on the intake were way smaller than the heads, so there is a guy that ports them to match -big increase in flow.
* Has a high performance cat and muffler delete -so better flow on the exhaust side and way better sound!.
I was blown away by how much stronger the engine felt!
The small block Chevrolets always develop seal leaks -it wasn't to bad when I had it, but was on my list.
The clutch has to be the stupid throw out bearing again - I did it once and it was a real PIA to do.
I'll see if I can find some more of the pictures from when I had it -I'm not 100% sure, but think that I was the third owner.
I did really enjoy that Z/51!
I had actually bought a 2015 Z/51 7 speed, but ended up trading it in on a 2019 Z06 7speed. I realized it made more sense to do that than modifying the 2015.

I noticed that spare wheel was not ever used!
Of course I have all documentation + something like original invoice + prospect from 1983 with invoice :-)
I have also Your Noah cover probably :-)
How long did You have that C4?

I did send a bunch of paper work and a set of factory shop manuals.
I think that i also sent the original un-ported intake.
And yes, I sent the Noah cover.
I had it about 3 years -it had 84,000 miles when I bought it and about 96,000 miles when I sold it.
When I first purchased, I went through everything -plugs, wires, cap/ rotor etc.
I put on the brand new Bilstein Z/51 shocks.
Every Christmas it got more gifts than me, so it had all new carpeting, window seal etc. I then freshened the digital dash and repaired any interior dash cracks.
I also replaced the brake rotors and pads, fuel pump and probably some other stuff that I can't recall.
I had the last paint job done on it, but the guy could have done a better job.

Now it is clear for my why it is in perfect condition - actual mileage is 101k miles :-)
Do you have any old photos of it? It is really pleasure to collect history of that car - 'she' stay with me a long, long time
I got everything what You mentioned (without rims)
