Default 1988 Coupe 4+3 Z51

1988 Corvette Coupe, 79,250 actual miles, Clean Car Fax, Loaded with all available options including Z51 package. Manual transmission with fresh clutch and service on the overdrive unit. New sparkplugs, plug wires, distributor, Very good paint and leather interior. No issues with any of the dash electronics. Since I've owned it I had the fuel pump replaced, and the injectors cleaned. A/C still blows ice cold. Power seat drive motors have been re-built, and the electronic A/C-Heat control unit has also been replaced. One head light motor gear has also been replaced, and I will include a spare gear for when the other side needs attention (believe me that day will come as it is a very common problem on the C4).

Car is located in the Minneapolis, MN area.

I bought this car in 2003 when it had about 50,000miles on it. Only selling because I upgraded to a C5 and I don't have room to keep it. This car has never been damaged, modified, or abused by me. This car is very original, complete, and correct and has only been used for fair weather cruising and an occasional drive to work. Always stored winters and seldom seen rain.

Here is a breakdown on the option codes as shown on the label in one of the attached photos . . .

AC1. Power passenger sport seat
AC3. Power driver sport seat
AQ9. Sport seats - leather
BGR. Bowling Green assembly
B49. Radiator cooling boost fan
C49. Electric rear window defogger
C68. Automatic electronic air conditioning
DL8. Twin remote outside heated mirrors
D3X. Speedometer driven gear 25513049 green
D74. Illuminated driver vanity mirror
D98. Speedometer sensor85007308
E5Z. Delete speedometer adaptor
E9Z. Delete speedometer key
FE7. High performance suspension
FG3. Preloaded gas shock absorbers
G44. Rear axle 3.07 ratio
G87. Ring gear 8.50 inch
KC4. Engine oil cooler
K68. 105 amp generator
L98. Tuned port injection 5.7L engine
MK2. Manual 4 speed Doug Nash transmission
MM4. 4-speed manual transmission
NA5. Federal emission system requirements
QA1. Styled aluminum wheels 17 9.5"
UQ4. Delco Bose four speaker system
UU8. Delco Bose AM/FM stereo radio with cassette
V01. Heavy duty radiator
V73. Vehicle statement certification, US or Canada
XAU. Front tire P275/40 ZR17
YAU. Rear tire P275/40 ZR17
Z51. Performance handling package
Z6A. Rear window and side mirror defoggers
1AA. Delete marketed base option package
20U. Medium Blue Metallic exterior
21I. Medium Blue interior trim
212. Blue leather interior
219. Medium Blue safety belts

Full disclosure, car does use some oil and I suspect valve guide seals. I recently installed new sparkplugs and the old plugs (with at least 30,000 miles all looked very clean. I have always changed the oil every 3,000 miles. Car starts and runs good and has never let me down. Also, the air pumps for the lumbar support in the seats do not work.

$5,950 or best reasonable offer. Here's a chance for someone to get into a Corvette at entry level pricing. Let me know if you need photos of anything specific.

Default Won't somebody make me an offer????

I thought I had this priced pretty competitively but I'm not getting any comments or inquiries. What do you guys think this car is worth?

I completely agree. That seems like a great car for the money.

Hard to believe a car like that is so cheap... I would have 4 or 5 of them if they were that price in Australia in that condition... I paid $20,000 for my 88 here in Australia and that was a very very good deal.

Car was sold to someone who took a good look and didn't hesitate to make a strong offer. The buyer got a good deal on a good car. If I had the room to keep it, I never would have sold it.
