Hello, looks like I am back in the market for another beloved Vette and I really like the C4s so this is what I'm looking for this time. I am looking here on the forum because I know most of the sellers and their cars can be vouched for. Looking for a Vette near Louisiana or within reasonable driving distance. Mods are fine, really looking for basic "to do's" to have been replaced like water pump, opti spark, brakes, radiator if needed, fluids, newer tires so basically a driver that's ready to be driven and enjoyed. Cold A/C is a MUST because its dang hot down here lol and I would like an AUTO. I did go through the post about 4 lines deep so I have looked and saw some amazing Vettes I missed out on Wow or some that were too far away! But I thought maybe this would be easier for me. Let me know what you have or know about and PMs are fine too. Cash ready for around $10k. ty

off the subject but I looked at a so called "deal" this weekend on a black on black 96 with 70k. it was a stick but for $4500 and the guy was going through a nasty divorce I thought this might be some kind of "barn find" you know. Well, was I disappointed and I don't know why he said it was in good shape because it was horrible and I would say need to be scrapped. Fender was damaged and white glass exposed, all rims bent, too small tire on front and bald ones on rear, interior trashed and even the engine looked like someone took a sledge hammer to it. I almost couldn't look at it, felt bad for the car. I mean a black on black 96 with reasonably low mileage, how could someone treat a car like that none the less a Vette!?!? Wow, glad I went to see the car but disturbed all at the same time lol. He tried to give it to me for $2k but it wasn't even worth that unfortunately. Polo Green is my favorite color because it the color of my 99 but I'll consider others. Just need mileage under 65k I would say for daily driver. Thanks for looking guys and thank you all for sharing your rides! They are all very nice! No offense just looking and taking my time for the right car and right price kind of thing.

Don't know if it matters but I take car of my cars like my children so if you want your Vette to go to a good home I am that man. I know it mattered to me when I sold all my cars. ty Jim
