1992 - Black on Black - 59k miles - $9,000
Hello,
Selling my '92. Black on black. Very good condition. 100% factory, only OEM replacement parts. Automatic. 59,558 miles.
Owned the car for the last eight years. Never seen snow; only seen rain when caught out in it by accident. Interior is in excellent condition. Some minor scratches on body. It has the later C4 style polished aluminum wheels (all 17" x 9.5") in excellent condition (no curb rash). I got these wheels using this forum several years ago. (I also have the original 1992 wheel set with tires to go with the car). Nitto NT555R-II Extreme P275/40ZR17 tires with 50% tread life remaining. Bose Gold Series radio with CD player. Removable glass blue targa top. New brakes 5,000 miles ago. New injectors 1,500 miles ago. Only run premium gas (as required); Mobil 1 synthetic oil changed every 3,000 miles.
She has four flaws:
1) needs new amps on speakers (Bose Gold Series; stereo itself works just fine).
2) has about two inch hairline crack in removable glass targa top close to frame molding (passenger side). I have a second glass targa top (with case) that will go with the car.
3) needs one new low-tire-pressure-warning sensor. When the Chevrolet dealership swapped my wheels (to the later C4 style polished aluminum set), the mechanics also swapped the low-tire-pressure-warning sensors. One sensor broke from the ring that secures it during this process (I have the sensor and ring).
4) needs AC charged.
I don't think you'll be disappointed (see pics). Please right-click on images and click open link in new tab to see the correct orientation (I'm not sure how to get them right-side-up). Kelly Blue Book value for private party, very good condition with options included is $8,800. Sell with original set of wheels with tires, extra targa glass top with case, custom-fit C4 corvette car cover, and some odds-and-ends parts from over the years for $9,000.
