Default 1990 ZR-1 Test Car - $13,500

I have decided to sell my ZR1. This car is in extremely good condition for its age. Paint is original and 9/10. Interior is 9.5/10. The Lotus DOHC LT5 engine is VERY powerful (over 400 hp), and it shows very well. This ZR-1 has had the transmission recently rebuilt by ZF Doc (best in the business), new clutch and flywheel, new Bilstein shocks, 16 new fuel injectors, and more done in the last 5000 miles. Dark Red Metallic with Saddle interior. Comes with custom ForgeLine 2 piece forged wheels with custom made Corvette logo center caps. Garaged most of its life, anyone will be very lucky to get this piece of American muscle car history. Comes with all original documentation, laminated window sticker, the coveted "pizza box" with shrink wrapped books and video, paperwork that shows originality as a Chevy fleet car, most likely used for testing and promo purposes, and much more. A very low build number. Own the 102nd ZR-1 ever built. These cars sold originally for over $100,000 25 years ago. Imagine that in today's dollars! This is your chance to own what is essentially a supercar that competed against the Ferrari Testarossa and Lamborghini Countach. And won. Only asking $13,500. Please no trades. I can be contacted at 727-254-0772, and I am located on the Outer Banks of NC.

Mileage is right at 102,000. That's nothing for the mighty LT5

The paint is in fantastic condition and shows great. There is a couple paint chips at the bottom of the front bumper (can be seen in the picture of the front). Overall a great looking Z.

In the title you mention "test car". What do you mean when you say that?

On the build sheet, the destination is listed as "C-P-C HDQTRS C/0 QUAL-EFFIC". The cars with that designation were generally used as either early test cars, promo cars for media advertising, or fleet vehicles. Hope this helps!

If I didn't know any better I would think that is my Z. I have a red exterior saddle interior 1990 Z with exactly the same mileage. Although mine is number 41 so I guess you are not selling my car LOL. Nice looking car at a good price. They sure are nice cars. GLWS.
