For Sale 1990 Convertible
My wife and I are putting our 1990 Corvette Convertible up for sale. Due to our deteriorating health, it is now time for someone else to enjoy this vehicle.
We are the third owners of this vehicle, and like the previous owners have maintained the appearance and the mechanics to a high degree.
The car is an all matching black car, black top with black interior. The Vin# is 1G1YY3384L5101489 and has a clear and clean title. I have title in hand. The car is all original except the exhaust. The motor is the L98 and has no leaks. This car is in truly exceptional shape and has to be seen to be believed. It is a garage kept car. The paint is gorgeous and the car has Kentucky Antique Car plates. This car is ready to cruise to car shows and drive ins.
The car has 148,000 miles and all 8 fuel injectors were changed 2 years ago. Jon at Fuel Injector Connection supplied the injectors. Air conditioning has been upgraded to 134 Freon. The car was serviced and inspected in March by the late Jim Van Dorn of AutoMasters of Bowling Green.
The tires have flat spots from sitting in garage but were balanced on last service. The driver’s seat is worn, please see picture.
We are asking $13,000 or best reasonable offer. The car is located in Tompkinsville in south central KY. This is 40 miles east of Bowling Green. 1/25/2017 REDUCED TO $9,000 or BEST OFFER.

Let me make the first move, the car is now lowered to $12,000.
Offers, trades, partial trades, all considered.
I don't think you can find a vintage convertible that will need work, do the work, and come out any cheaper on price.

Still have vehicle in garage since last post. This forum is the only place we have listed since original post. Has not been driven, only occasionally start the engine. We love this car but we just can't physically get in and out of the car anymore. I would love to see this car go to a forum member who is a corvette enthusiast who will love and a take care of the car as much as we have.
We would like to get $9,000 but are willing to work with you. The cost of restoring a 27 year old car would be greater than to buy one in this condition. You haven't got anything to lose to talk to us. Use contact information in original post.

Spring will be here soon. We have to sell this well maintained car. If you want an antique corvette, this one needs very little.
We entertain all offers. I can provide any additional photos or information to make you fill comfortable.

Since I have had a few questions about the hardtop, let me respond a little more on the topic.
I have seen these for sale on Ebay and on Craigslist. I am sure there is a website somewhere that has one for sale also.
We will take $1,000 off the price so they buyer can put towards a hardtop. We hope this will help out the eventual buyer.
No bad questions, just let me know what more you need to own. As of 2/17/17 the new price is $8,000.
