1988 35th anniversary
#2
I just missed one in R.I. With 8000 miles. Asking price was $19,900. There is another in The NCRS with 29000 miles for 15,000. Craigslist in Asheville, NC has one with 45000 miles for $18000. And one in Hickory, NC with 4000 miles for $26500. It really is a tough guess due to mileage and condition. Good luck..........

I just saw two 35ths go across the block at Mecum last weekend. The bidding stopped at 6K on the first one and 7k on the 2nd one... neither one sold... perhaps later in private, but not on stage.
I sold my 103K mile 35th back in 2001 for 9K. Ran great, looked to be about a 7 with the interior... I bought a ZR-1... best car for the buck if you shop around and wait for a deal.

If it is a stick shift then you will be able to get more than an A4 as they are more rare. Make sure the interior and steering wheel sparkle

There isn't a huge market for them and I think they look fantastic. I love the black halo.
I would out 10k on it and who knows. But dont be surprised if you sell it for 7k. Great cars but cery few people are in love with them tk pay a premium. Which is sad.

Where are you located? I am in Dallas, Texas; and I have been looking for a decent 35th Anniversary for a bit. One finally came up for sale here at a dealership a few weeks ago. It has 86,000 miles on in it, and they are asking $11,299. I out right told them that was way high, and was able to get them to $9,000 + TTL. It's in great shape (seats need work is about the only thing to do), but is missing the Anniversary Edition Number Plaque on the Console (someone replaced the console trim and junked it, I'm thinking), so that has kept me from committing on the car.

Try Mid America customer service and see if somebody there knows where you can get a reproduction console plate made for that 35th.
Because the plate is small I would search through the car in the storage bins and owners manual to see if it was kept in the car by some small chance.
I am not sure on where to look to find the corresponding numbers to match the vin to the production run of 35ths. I kinda doubt the vin
numbers will be sequential from the 1st one to the 2050 th made as it relates to console plate numbers.
