1995 Corvette Coupe, 42K miles: PRICE DROP
Car SOLD...GS wheels and original parts still available if anyone is interested.
I'm offering for sale my 1995 Corvette Coupe, automatic transmission. It has been babied and treasured -- and it shows in how the car looks and drives.
Less than 42,000 pampered miles! I have the original window sticker (see pic) and owner's manual.
The car runs and drives perfectly. It's mechanically sound and totally reliable. There are no issues. Everything works as it should...including the air conditioning (nice and cold). The car is located in Omaha, NE. It runs so well that you can feel confident flying in, buying it and driving it home (anywhere).
As most any car of this age, it had one very slow oil leak when I bought it (about a quarter-sized spot in my garage over the winter), so I replaced oil pan, valve cover and intake manifold gaskets. NO OIL (OR OTHER FLUID) LEAKS WHATSOEVER (which is the way I like it)! I also had the brake system and transmission flushed along with a rear differential service so that everything would be fresh and ready to go.
Front and rear brake pads are new, and the car was lowered 1-1/2 inches and freshly aligned.
All work has been done by the Corvette Specialist (Josh) at Gregg Young Chevrolet in Omaha. In fact, this Spring I was noticing the car idling rough. Josh replaced the oxygen sensor for me and the car is smooth as ever.
Excellent finish Competition yellow paint and an exceptional black leather seat interior that I'd rate a 8-1/2 to 9 out of 10 -- even the driver's seat doesn't show wear (see pics). I replaced the center console panel and the driver side door handle panel because they had tiny nicks in the finish -- and I wanted them as perfect as the rest of the interior (I do still have the originals too). I replaced the removable top with a newly-refurbished one that has all new seals and perfect smoked glass. I replaced the lower front spoilers since the originals were scratched and scraped. The wheels are rash-free and the tires are nearly new. The car has new floor mats and rear deck mat. And that's not all, but you get the idea -- I pretty much fixed or replaced anything on the car that wasn't tip-top.
I have quite a bit more invested in the car than what I'm asking (which is almost always the case, right?)...The car can be bought for $12,500. This is a car that needs nothing (no more money out of your pocket). Just drive and enjoy.

Just shoot me an offer that works for you (PM me if you want). It can't hurt either one of us to consider the options and work to make a deal. If it turns out to be something that can't work well for the both of us, at least you'll have something to compare other deals to. Thanks again for your interest.

Was in Lincoln last Friday to attend a friend of the family wedding - disappointed I didn't look at the forum beforehand, so distance is an issue as far a test driving and looking at the car ahead of time.
I'm assuming the vehicle is still for sale?
I see you have the car's invoice. Are you the original owner? Any other maintenance or modifications done to the car that are not already listed?
Brand and mileage on tires?
Being the owner of this car, would you be confident driving it 10 hours straight to another location?
Because of the distance factor, what do you consider a respectful "best offer" for the car?
Thank you!

The tires a Kumho brand and I'm not sure how many total miles on them. They have good tread depth yet...I can take pictures of the tread if you want -- no problem.
I would have no reservations whatsoever driving this car on a long trip (10 hour or longer). It has been amazingly reliable for me.
The best offer for the car is whatever you think the car is worth to you considering what you want and other factors involved (like the travel cost). But also consider that I have this car to a point where it truly needs nothing (unless you want to personalize or customize it). You can buy other C4s for less money, but they will likely have more miles and will cost you more money to get them to the reliability and condition of this one. The $13,500 is less than what I have in the car, but I'm willing to make a deal for a fellow Corvette enthusiast. Just let me know what it's worth to you. The worst I can do is say "no".
Have a great day!

[QUOTE=2011gsJoe;1590319082]Yes, it's still for sale. I am not the original owner. I believe I'm the third owner but I truly haven't ever investigated. Outside of what I mentioned, I have done no other modifications or maintenance...I drive it 3 or 4 times a week to work and back and on weekends. I enjoy the car as much as I can.

You certainly have a nice car and I would like to talk to you more about it! I'm an older gentleman, or maybe it just feels that way some days more than others, and would prefer talking with you directly. Can I reach you by phone? Todd from WI.

I know how you feel about being an "older gentleman". I'm in that same boat. We're only as old as we feel, though, right?

I temporarily took this car off the market in order to pursue some interest on my other vette (I didn't want to sell both cars). That deal didn't happen, but based on the interest I've received for both cars, I've decided to sell the pair in order to buy a C7. Both are fantastic, no-issues and no-worries cars serviced 100% by the Gregg Young Corvette Master Mechanic here in Omaha.
My '95 is ready and raring to go to a new owner if anyone is still interested.
