1996 Ex-World Challenge Corvette-Road Race
This car was completed in November 1999, with everything brand new on the car. Majority of the "trick" parts are from long time Corvette racer Kim Baker. The car was built from the frame up to the SpeedVision GT rules of 1999. Recently freshened engine by Lozano Bros. Porting(top end). I've owned and HPDE this car for the last 8-9 years.
-Engine is LT-1, 433 RWHP and redline of 7200 rpm
-383ci, steel crank, I beam rods, Manley pistons and tons of head work, 13.5 to 1 comp.
-ECU is a Accell DFI system[laptop comes with the car]
-Accusump, System One Oiling System, Jacobs Ignition system
-Engine relocated down and back to maximize balance of the car
-Front Brakes are Coleman 4 piston W/C calipers rotors are 13"x1 1/4
-Rears are PBR 2 piston with 13" rotors
-Brake recirculating valve for the front brakes
-Brake bias for front to rear- adjustment by driver- on track
-Tilton hanging pedals with remote res.
-All bushings have been replaced with Delrin or end-rods
-Coil-over custom valued Bilstein shocks
-Chassis was stripped and reinforced along with the K-member
-Roll cage is a halo style very similar to that used in NASCAR
-Custom fuel cell, fire ext. system
-ZF 6 spd trans., 3.45 Dana 44 rear end, plexiglass rear hatch
-Spare original hood, misc. spare parts
-Burns 110 octane(leaded fuel)
-This is a professional build on a true C4 race car.

Looks fantastic and very good price. I wish I was in the market. Kim's work is impressive.
If easy, can you post a pic of the car from the rear? I'm interested to see the rear wing from that angle. Do you know who supplied the front and rear spoilers? Are they still available?

Will have to check on manuf. Don't know if they still make them.
Will try to get you a part number etc for the spoiler. stand by...

C4 Racing
Car was raced one time at Laguna Seca. Ran for 19 laps and had mechanical DNF. Yes I have the original Log Book. I bought this car from the original owner. Roll cage is all original. Race car has never been wrecked. I've replaced the fuel cell, added cooling fans, swapped the transmission to a blue tag ZF6. Installed elect water pump and installed new clutch, wheel bearings, maint. items. All this car needs is a fast driver....

Sweet Race Car...makes me want to buy it just to go racing with Russ. I can't get out of second gear here on Long Island with the ZR-1...and I'd need the skinny version to have any remote chance of squeezing past Russ.
What a great opportunity to run a corvette the way it was race modified not all that long ago...and when you tell people how you spent your weekend...priceless!

Saw RacePro Engineering's track car listing...so figured they should be close to one another.
This vette is still for sale and does stay in front of C5, C6's, of course depending on drivers skill
