Default 1989 B2K Callaway-Lingenfelter Built-Drastically Reduced-$29,000

Must sell ASAP!!! Found a car I really want to buy. Look at my other ad for details. If the other other car sells before this vette, I will take it off the market and keep it. $29,000 Firm, and I am keeping the HRE wheels, so car will come with stock wheels.

I lowered the price by $8,500, and have received zero interest. Can anyone recommend a better place to sell this car. I can't believe it hasn't sold yet.

I assume you tried CL.?

I just considered a c1 and a c2 which are never for sale by me and the 65 had 40 calls in 2 days, the 62 sold the 2nd day first person. Price and desire/ demand.

Awesome cars for sure, but it's a c4 and either serious collectors or vette guys are probably the main audience.

I tried CL for about 3 days. I was just tired of having to answer the same question. "Are those stock turbos"?

Are they? I would like to know

At this price with the extra drive train, this car should be flying off the shelf.

I was interested in this car the last time I saw it for sale? Does it still come with everything to convert it back to a six speed?

Yes, I have all the original parts for the car. This car is much nicer now since you saw it for sale last time. I installed the Aerobody kit, and spent thousands of dollars in tuning to make it run a lot smoother.

That's factory setting. That's really good power at that boost level. Nice work on the tuning coming together with all the LPE work.

In case anyone missed it….My price is FIRM!!!!!!!

Also, This car is not stock!!! If you want a stock car, Please look elsewhere. Ive had about 5 different people ask for a bunch of pictures, and what mods were done, then turn around and tell me its not as stock as they would like.

There is a ton of info about this car on the forums. There aren't too many like it. As popular as the Sledgehammer is, I can't believe this car hasn't sold, since it was built by the same guy.

Any questions ask away…...

Not to derail your thread, but in an effort to keep the record clear.

John Lingenfelter didn't build the Sledgehammer or even fully build the motor that made the historic run. He did do some development work and drove the car, but it is the Callaway Sledgehammer...they did the work and deserve the credit.
