Crowz,

Wow...some really nice finds! Thanks a bunch! The 1993 CORVETTE -40TH ANV- Convertible is really nice...yes, it is what I am looking for. About 1k more than I have right now but hey, anything could happen. I really prefer the colors black, red and white. I am not to keen on the two tone colors. (Is that what you call them?) Black is my favorite but it seems to be everyone else's too as whenever I call or email, they are already taken. And red interiors make me crazy for some reason. I had a bf with a 79 in high school (red interior) and we were always fighting in the car and breaking up. When he traded it for one with a black interior, we stopped fighting and got married. One of our children was even conceived in the black interior car! LOL

I saw this one and wonder if I made a mistake bidding only 7.5k on it.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1995-Chevrolet-Corvette-/301764242140?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=uOTVk8FuLFjXokfLv3Yi4RDrx4s%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=ncIt went for $7905. I figured in the transport ($600) which would put it at $8100 and wonder if I missed a great deal or just a ho hum one or even one at all. 50k black on black leather which is my "top choice" if I am really being honest. Did I miss a steal? Anyone can respond. TY.

And thanks again Crowz for taking the time to send me some nice leads! And sure, I would be happy to look at any more you find (since you asked) and you can pm me them too if you like. I am afraid if you post a good one on here that is what I am looking for, somebody lurking on here for the same thing (some young whipersnapper) will scoop it up before this old broad gets out of bed and gets her first cup of coffee!

All those I posted are within 100 miles of Richmond. Is that close enough?

Yup, Richmond and Philly are both good, and like I said I don't mind paying a $500 transport fee on the East Coast (North or South...Carolina's, Florida, New York, etc) for a good deal. I prefer black or red or white though (in my OP) and (I forgot to say in OP but just added) no red interiors. Check my last post...I posted a funny about the red interior for you!

SurfnSun, Thanks for the lead. I actually looked at this one previously and it was perfect...new seats and carpet...good paint..good tires...excellent maintenance...still for sale...and right at my target price of 7.5k. But maaaaaaaan....I just GOTTA have the wind in my hair (what's left of it) and it just ain't got the vert or T-Tops I am looking for. Otherwise, good spot! Thanks!

This is what I am basically looking for, (as long as sadly I can't get a black on black Stingray with T-Tops under 80k in my price range anytime soon!)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-Co...02102#viTabs_2

I can't get a value from the VIN off CarGurus so I have no idea what to bid on it. The shipping quote was $500 which I have to figure into my total cost.

All c4 coupes have a targa top top where the roof comes out. So yes, you can have the wind in your hair with any C4 you buy.

Alexandria, I used to have a lot of fun on business in old town.

The great thing about where you are at is that winter drives down prices. Keep watching and don't settle. Getwhat you want at the price you want. You will find the right car.

Well I have been kind of willing to pay top dollar in my price range because I need a car so badly right now. But a nice CF member PM'd me and said the same thing about winter driving down the prices. He suggested I buy some beater car (humpty) for about 3k to fill my need for a car now, and then take my time to look around throughout the winter, selling the beater when I find my perfect Vette. I thought this was STELLAR advice that I had never thought of surprisingly so that is what I am going to do. That's why I just love you guys!

Wait!! Here's one! What do you all think about this one? The interior could use some spiffing up (new seats, carpet) in the future but it is driveable as is right now. Do you think a bid of 7500 is too much? PLus, it's right down the street from me!

Im guessing its been wrecked and repainted. Id have a carfax/autocheck run on it if you're serious.

The front airdam should be black, not painted red. Also corner between the lamps on the front bumper that is painted red, should be black on a 95.

So you know front end has been painted.

Hmmmmm...now HERE'S an interesting project, eh? Not that I would know ANYTHING about it or where to start but it IS in my price range! I hate red interiors though! Or to define it "propery", Oxblood interiors....

What is that last picture all about? A handle of something.....?

That one in Washington looks a little rough under the hood.
It's in your price range now but how far out of it will it be after
you're done finishing it?
