Except for the wheels, this car is identical to the
one I just lost this past June. Unfortunately I'm
about 6-7 months away from being able to buy
another one, but I'm going to call anyway......

Most don't realize how different the LT4 actually is over the LT1. You can certainly get to 330 HP with an LT1 easy enough but the real deal LT4 is much better IMO. The torque curve... or lack thereof... makes the LT4 the best driving C4. It's like they combined the L98 torque and then increased the LT1 HP. It's a great engine. If you have never driven one then try to do so. The numbers on the page indicate it's a minor difference. You won't make it 2 blocks before you realize it's a different beast in real life.

I have had L98 and LT1 cars and modded several of them. They can run very well and fun to drive. I just bought an LT4 car this summer and I am becoming a supporter of the LT4. For street driving it really seems to do it all very well. I am impressed with it so far.

Wah, don't laugh at the "ototragic"..... There are those of us for whom
a manual tranny isn't all that great. I drive a big-truck and the novelty/fun
of shifting wore off fifteen years ago. Also, a recent broken hip (in my C-4)
makes me wonder if I could do any clutching for any length of time.
But for those of you who like a manual, good! My brother has a C-5 and he
likes the manual. I'm not knockin' them....just not for me at this point in my life......
