Sold!!! Hi, The time has come to sell my Corvette. It's a bittersweet sale because I have so much time and money in the car. It is an early 86 model, originally Silver with silver interior. I have completely overhauled the interior which is now black, I replaced the seat covers and foam, it does have sport seats, I replaced all carpeting and underpayment, replaced the console sides, and door panels. The interior of the car is beautiful and close to new. I used top quality components for everything inside, I spent more than my asking price for the interior parts. The transmission works perfectly, the overdrive and manual gear case have been serviced and were in great condition when I did. The car obviously has the Dana 44 rear axle, which works well and also is in good working condition. The engine runs well, but does use some oil, it needs an overhaul to be top notch again, but runs well the way it is and has good power. I have a 30 over block and other components that will go with the car.( new oil pump, rocker arms distributor , and other odds and ends) I also have a spare intake setup and a set of new injectors. The body is in very good condition with shiny paint, but the person I bought it from had it painted on the cheap, a lot of orange peel, and not a high quality job. Looks good until you really start looking. the wheels and tires are new ZR1 staggered with Sumitomo tires, only about 1000 miles on them. The brakes and rotors have been replaced, Ac Delco pads with slotted and drilled rotors.
The bad is the clutch, The master cylinder is currently not functional, there is a new slave cylinder in place.The AC was working, but has sprung a leak, It has a new manifold line and receiver dryer, and was converted to R134.
again this is ALOT of car for the money, if it doesn't sell I will part,but that would break my heart, the car is too nice to part out.

It is too nice to just part out, that's why I would like someone to buy it and finish it up, The car was a basket case when I bought it, and it is a drivable fun car now, just needs som rods and ends to be great. I live in Cambridge WI.
As far as reliability, before the clutch master went out, this car went to Montana and Texas trouble free, It drives well.
