Default FS: Greensboro, NC- 1995 6 SPD, 403 RWHP, lots of mods!

This is a Pre-production model, #55 of the 1995 model year.

I have been the owner since Spring of 96, purchased the car from a lady with 13k miles.
This has been a great car, daily drove it for years. It has been garage kept for most of its life. Paint and interior are in overall good shape, but this is a driver and not a show car, but very good condition for its age and mileage. I am not in a rush to sell, and I don't "need" to sell it, I just don't drive it much, and have another Vette that is my current fun car/project.

Has always been very reliable, never ANY drive-train issues, only sporadic things like a water pump, blower fan, opti spark, window regulator, etc., all of which have been fixed over the years. I did most all maintenance, repairs, and mods (except for engine work & dyno tune). Always taken great care of: regular wash, wax, clay bar, etc. Oil/filter changed every 3k, always w Mobil1 syn, motor is as clean as new inside, burns NO oil, I have never added oil between changes, and never low when I changed it. Regular change of brake, trans, rear, and coolant as well. This car is an all around great performance car, and very streetable, runs at 180 deg, and makes smooth power from off idle on up, very linear, not peaky. Car made 403rwhp on a dyno, conservatively puts it at 450HP+ at the crank. Never abused, total street car, but you can drive this around and have fun, or go to the drag strip, auto cross, or change brake pads and do track days. I still get compliments on the look and sound of the car all the time.

BASICS:
- Arctic white exterior, with two-tone black and tan interior.
-ZF 6 speed w 3.45 Dana 44 rear
- removable solid targa top
- dual power Sport seats, with lumbar
- FX3 suspension (3 way adjustable)
-139k miles
- 403rwhp!
-Last year that does not require emissions testing in NC, only requires $13 safety inspection!

MODS:
-Lloyed Elliot, LE2 package: ported heads, custom cam, ported intake. (all matched to work together and professionally installed at Tick Performance in NC) (this was done at 100k) This package, exhaust, other bolt ons, etc., install, and tune, was around $10K.
- TPIS 1 ¾ long tube headers, 3" collectors to 3" pipes to Magnaflow "Tru-X" resonator
- Corsa stainless cat back
-LT4 8K tach/instrument cluster (hard to find and expensive)
- opened air lid, with KN filter
-Mallory HP wires, new NGK spark plugs (less than 500 miles)
- Edelbrock 58MM TB
-Ported and polished MAF meter
- Comp Cams ProMag 1.6 full roller rockers
- Extreme Dual springs, high lift
-Comp Cams one piece chromoly pushrods and
-CompCams lifters
-ARP 7/16 rocker studs (larger), ARP head & intake bolts
-.029 head gaskets
- Heads have new valve guides, SS valves, vitan seals, etc.
-42 lb. Delphi/Lucas injectors.
-160 deg, T-stat
- Re-valved Bilstein shocks, with new rods at 70K
- higher rate front spring
- larger front/rear sway bars 30/26mm, with poly bushings
- lowered
-R&D Manufacturing products Cambar brace and Crossbar. (stiffens and boxes in front and rear frame)
- Hurst short throw billet shifter, with MGW delrin shift ****. (this is the best shifting trans/shifter I have ever experienced in any car, better than my newer Vette.)
-Upgraded headlight system to Euro sytle H4 sealed glass headlights and bulbs/130w, complete new heavier gauge wire, fuses, relays etc. (great lighting, the stock sucks, this is better than my HID system on other car.)
- Upgraded stereo: CD, MP3, HD radio, aux, USB, Bluetooth compatible with Alpine 4 channel amp, and Infinity Kappa speakers in stock location. (no storage room is taken up.)
- Insulated complete car, including doors with Frost King.
-Advance Titanium battery
-C5 Z06 18" wheels, light weight, polished alum, with 275/315 tires. Rears are new.
- tinted (could do with a re-tint)
- upgraded brakes: slotted cryo-treated rotors, SS brake lines, synthetic fluid, Hawk HP street pads, speed bleeders, DRM rear bias proportioning spring. (helps keep car flat and not dive forward on hard braking)
- New AC system put in a yr or so ago.
-New center trim piece (around HVAC/Stereo) put on this year.

I will include these with the sale of the car if they do not sell separately first.

Thanks guys, it has been and still is a really great car. Always planned on keeping it when I did the mods, and I still may, as I won't give it away. It is a shame these cars have dropped so low, hopefully they have reached their full depreciation.

I have a couple other For Sale threads on some items I found while cleaning.
I will include these with the sale of the car if they do not sell separately first.

I've seen the car in person, and seen it on the dyno. The car is every bit as nice as he says it is, and it runs incredibly strong. Good luck with it man.

Negative. I'm still pretty good friends with those guys, but I took a job in outside sales a few months ago.

Thanks. I really like the LE2 package for the street. This was from when Brett Bauer made the cams for LE. It has a great sound, and has very smooth power from off idle to redline.
Wheels are from AFS, I looked around a lot to find light weight polished alum. when I purchased, plus wanted 18s all around.

Nicely put together

If youre out of the area just have the car transported not as much as youd think. Buying one done is the best way
