Feeler 1994 BAM Coupe
I am thinking of cutting my 94 Bright Aqua Metallic coupe loose. I have countless hours and a LOT of money tied up in this car. It has won awards at Funfest and many local car shows. I probably put too much coin in this car, but it is my wifes car and I wanted it safe and clean for her. People who see the car think it has miles in the teens. It has new carpet, new Al Knock seats and a laundry list of repairs and upgrades. The last total I have is well north of over $7000.00 spent on fixing, replacing, or repairing anything and everything that was wrong or has failed or may fail. It had brand new Continental tires when I bought it 3 years ago. I have replaced the Opti (twice) wires, plugs, water pump, fuel pump, all filter, hoses, brakes, bearings, timing chain, all trans solenoids and wiring, seat track, top, wheels, PKE, and a LOT more. The car is wearing it's original paint except for the lower front bumper that I repainted 2 years ago. The upper by the hood is still original. Everything works on the car. It drives straight, stop straight has excellent oil pressure, no noises from the engine or drivetrain. It is probably the most sorted used 94 out there. The car currently has 174,500 miles on it. What do you think I can get for it?

I have a 92 that I paid 9k for a couple years ago and put as much as you did into it and its just as well sorted and if I could get my 9k back out of it id jump. Id eat the 6-7k I put into fixing it up and its only got 55k on it. I would think youd be VERY fortunate to get 8k

C-4 prices are not on the high end of the curve right now and that sucks. You have a lot of miles on vehicle and that is going to scare off many worried about upcoming maintenance costs. I sold my 1994 vert for a premium price as it had less than 3,000 miles on it.
IMHO......you will get $6,000 to $8,000.

I live in the same area as you, (NW 'burbs). To give you an idea of pricing in our area, I just purchased a '95 coupe with 63k on it in very good condition for $7,500
My guess is people will be offering you in the 5-6000 range.

Kind of a shame albeit true as the work youve put in shows car is gorgeous, love a super sano interior.
Can always come in high, if it shows that good in person and a non diehard looks at it you might just pick it up. C4 values suck right now.
Its not like you have to give it way condition is definitely there just fighting the mileage stigma thats all .
Be patient, well maintained cars period are in demand
Most call a waxed and oil changed car maintained, us car guys know it goes a little farther than that.
Good luck!

We have resolved ourselves to start looking for a '10 or '11 Grand Sport. My wife wants a JetStream Blue with Grey interior. I would probably sell for $8K even though I will be taking that much as a loss. It is time to move on. The car needs nothing. I installed a Vats bypass chip and a new fuel pump last week, just as a precaution. She has some miles but is only about 8500 per year so that's not outrageous.

I just drove this beauty for the first time since I changed the fuel pump. This car runs and drives BETTER than it looks. I think if she wants a new car I'm just going to keep this and daily drive it. It really is a great car!

So why have a DD thats slushy, rides like a Saturn and performs like an old dodge neon when you can keep your sweet looking Vette knowimean?

Sunny Beach! My favorite color and it looks better than any one I've seen. 175k? Is this thing for real? Hell if you can get in and out of it you SHOULD use it for a DD. Nice.......

Yeah, its a shame that mileage is simply going to force the price down. The condition of that thing looks outstanding, and if it werent for mileage it would be a 5-figure car because of the condition. But like others have said, itll likely only sell for a middle of the road price.
Awesome color combo btw. And great job on taking care of it.
