Default 1984 Corvette-$3,500

This is a turn key car that only needs some minor restoration to make it show ready. The body is straight and clean, the engine was rebuilt in 2010 and looks like new. It has the original 350 cross-fire that has been beefed up. It has a comp cam 268, roller rockers, intake has been ported and matched to the heads. Many new parts including alternator, radiator, rack and pinion, wires, true dual exhaust, and new cap/rotor. It starts right up and runs very strong. The only things a new owner will need to see about is brake pads, tires are worn, alignment, paint, and the interior could use some improvements if you wanted to. The car has 101K miles but new engine has 10K. Transmission has shift kit and shifts nice and crisp with no issues. Headlight motors work and are rebuilt, heat is good, has air but I have not tried it. The cruise control was removed. Aftermarket stereo and amp with speakers. this is a nice entry level car that doesn't need a lot to make it a show car. price is $4,000 and I am in Gahanna, Ohio which is in Columbus.

I have done it before too..lol..

That's a great price and i wish more C4 owners would realize the actual value of their cars.

Shouldn't last long

I will reduce the price to $3500 which is very good for this car. Seats work, rear hatch works, gauges work but I did put a better tach in, weatherstripping has been replaced. No leaks, sounds great and would make a awesome show car due to its age and engine. Many corvette people frown on the crossfire but I would be willing to bet this engine is putting out close to 300HP. I have the shop manual and lots of other tips for tuning the TBS that go with it.

It'll sell, be patient, 3200 is a steal from what I can tell. I wouldn't even sell it for that little, goodluck with the sale!

I am south of Dayton

And also have an 1984.

I could use a drive to Columbus and would like to "pick" your brain regarding the engine modification while retaining CFI.

Would you be agreeable to a visit?

Let me know

Well, since no interest at my prices I'll go down to $3000 which is pretty much a steal. I won't go any lower as I want to help our daughter with student loans.

You should ask someone to fix your pictures.. makes it real tough on buyers looking sideways at your pictures. Probably that and more pics of everything.

Just trying to help

Not to highjack the OP thread, but what do you want to ask about CFI, I'm sure I can help. PM me.

BTW, $3000 is a low price and I wouldn't drop it anymore than that. Good luck with your sale.

I am puzzled as to why it hasn't sold. Super deal here. I will see about adding new pics. I only know about improving the performance of the cfi from what I learned on this forum.
