1990 Torch Red Auto,. For sale. Nice
I have owned it for 8 years. I bought it to be a fun weekend car but it turned into a show car. asking 14,000
It has gray interior. The seats are new with foam and the covers were installed by Mid America. It has C4 logo floor mats and cargo mat.
It has a new leather shift boot and new black leather shift ****. There is an extra Carbon Fiber **** that is included. Double Power seats.
Paint is in excellent shape and maintained by Adams Polish Products. Car was originally white and repainted Torch Red.
It has chrome C6 Z06 wheels with newer F1 Goodyear run flat tires. It also has drilled and slotted rotors. Full spare included with jack.
Original L-98 Tune Port 5.7 V8 engine. The top end has been rebuilt with 8 new 21 psi injectors. The intake runners have been ported and polished. The battery is less than 2 months old.
The A.I.R smog system has been removed and replaced with a new delete pulley. Also the EGR has been removed. Due to this, the engine light randomly lights up but it doesn't affect the engines performance whatsoever. It also has a K & N air filter.
The engine compartment is fully detailed with chrome and polished stainless steel parts.
It has a engine to tail custom exhaust - 2.5 inch Y pipe from the exhaust manifolds to the Magnaflow catalytic converter to the Magnaflow cat back exhaust which is also 2.5 inches.
The interior plastic trim pieces have been carbon fibered. It has the original carpet which is in great shape. It also has a Melrose transparent roof!
I upgraded the factory sound system to a Kenwood with 4 speakers, a head unit, remote, cd, aux etc.
It has MPG (CORVETTE) brake caliper covers, chrome rear hatch struts, chrome door strikers, and stainless steel door sills. All of the door seals, A pillars and hatch seal have been replaced.
All control arms, trailing arms and spindles have been hand polished, along with the stainless steel brake light covers.
Included are the chrome door props and a GM stamped leather insert for the under side of the hood that I use at car shows.
It has 143,500 miles. You won't find a cleaner running C4 anywhere. It's # 952 of the first 1000 made in 1990.
It has won trophies at GoodGuys PPG Nationals in Columbus, Ohio and made their magazine. Two years in a row it was the celebrity pick at Corvettes at Carlisle in PA. It also was picked as Best of Show by the Bowling Green Corvette Plant Manager at the Arthritis Foundation show in Dublin, Ohio.
It comes with a red soft car cover and Novi stretch bra.
I have two sets of owners manual, 3 volume shop manuals, a dealer brochure, video tape, cassette, and an emergency key.
Runs fantastic and averages 28 mpg on the highway.
