That’s a really nice car! Is the original radio operational and would it be able to be reinstalled? It looks like it still has the Bose speakers - do they work and were they modified when the new radio was installed? Thanks.

Nice car. The only new Corvette I owned was a 84 Black Red auto trans with Z-51. Yes harsh ride. It was destroyed in November of 84 when a large yellow school bus ran into it on the Los Angeles 91 Freeway in the rain. We had only 7400 miles on the car.

Your color is light blue metallic. Only 1822 were made. They recommended MB interior, Medium blue. Gray leather went into 5144 cars.

it is not light blue, it is medium blue. In 1984 they only had suggested combos, not forced combos, so there were at least 1000 blue cars built without the suggested blue interior... all the dealer had to do is order RPO D60 and chevy would build any combo. You will notice D60 is on the RPO sheet. With that said most of the non blue interior cars likely got graphite because it didn't require the D60 override
