2004 Convertible - Vortech Supercharged - 555rwhp
The time has come for me to move on to another project so I am entertaining offers on my Corvette. Anyone that has seen this car in person can attest as to its quality. No expense has been spared and all the best parts have been used. Brands like HRE, Caravaggio, Baer, Vortech have been used to build this car. All the engine work was done by DynoTech Engineering in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and was completed approximately 5 months/4,000 miles ago.
2004 Corvette Convertible (Torch Red)
11,600 miles (approximately)
Vortech Supercharged (555rwhp/470rwtq)
On top of the $54,000 sticker price I have invested approximately another $50,000.
I'm asking $49,900
I will keep this listed here on the Forum for a limited time and then will post it on ebay. Obviously, once it goes on ebay then I will have no control over the price so it may sell higher than my Forum asking price.
Please visit my web site for complete details and pictures, you will find the link below.

I have had a few people express interest but nothing serious. It should go on ebay in the next day or two. Right now I'm willing to take offers from Forum members.

will you be at Bloomington?
what a work of art. really spectacular. I'm in the market, just concerned about the value of C5's now that C6's are deliverable.
but I'd love to see the car. I'll be at Bloomington. cb

I don't believe it Joe
I have seen this car up close and the progress on it the past year. 50,000 is a steal.

What are you going to tinker with next Joe???
--
Are you going to Bloomington Gold this year?
--
I will be there in the CF area on Saturday.

Thanks Brad...I appreciate it. It looks like a new Z06 is in my future. I definitely fell in love with it at the Cruise-In and have to have one. Once I get my mind set on something its hard for me to turn back.
As far as Bloomington Gold...I dont have any plans to go at the moment but I am considering it. I'll just have to wait and see how things go with the sale and kind of play it by ear. It may end up being a spur-of-the-moment thing.

For those possibly interested, it is now listed on ebay with an even lower price.

Still listed on ebay without any bid....almost 7 days to go...I've got a TON of people watching it so I'm assuming someone is going to try and snipe it for the starting bid.
I'll entertain offers from forum members up until I get the first bid.

There are almost 100 people watching it so I assume that the people that are REALLY interested are just waiting until the last minute to put their bid in so that they dont start a bidding war and drive the price up. Kinda sucks for me but someone could end up with a steal of a deal.
The only word of caution...I've had a few people contact me about a cash deal outside of ebay. There is a chance that the auction 'could' get closed before the first bid is even placed. If I receive a bid, then I wont close the auction and will just let the bidding continue.
And...I actually forgot all about Blooming Gold until a few days ago. I should have planned for it and shown it there but I forgot about it. Oh well....I may sell it at Carlisle if I dont get what I want before then.

No need to be a smart azz just because your car didn't sell. Remember, mods are worth less than 10 cents on the dollar when it comes time to sell. Let's see, a $35k car with $5k worth of mods = $40K tops (and dropping quickly).
