I looked at a lot---I mean a lot of black C5 coupes before buying this one (man there's some well worn cars out there). This one really stood out. It was a one owner driver for an older gentleman. 100,000 well kept miles. Never smoked in--virgin cigarette lighter. Window sticker. Super nice interior----even the seat bolsters are nice. No leaks.
The paint is original with no touch ups. Never been hit. The color still holds out nicely. There are a couple scratches but not that many. The nose, some places on the hood and the kick up infront of the rear tires have some "road use chips". I've seen this on many C5's, par for such a low to the ground car. Also there was a small crack next to one of the brake duct openings (front bumper). Now fixed and hardly noticeable.
I put on a brand new FluidDamper and ARP bolt. New belts. Relocated oil pressure sensor. The ECM was tuned by Charlie at RPM. Runs very well. The drivability is outstanding. The engine runs very smoothly, is quiet and uses no oil. No leaking battery issues. New plugs and GM plug wires.
I installed GM sloted and drilled rotors. The rears being the larger C6 Z51 units with corresponding caliper brackets. Looks great! New pads.
Brand new GM Z16 wheels with brand new GoodYear F1's (Z06 width). Tire pressure sensors transfered.
Both tops---clear one crazed some. DualZone climate control (cold A/C). AM/FM CD, no changer. Memory seats. Stainless GM exhaust tips installed. BSM's.
Everything, I mean everything works on this car. It is exceptionally clean inside and outside--------and underneath! I can't believe I'm trying to sell it. Damn, I'm starting to talk myself out of it.
Anyhow as described I want $18,500. $16,500 with the stock wheels, tires and rotors-----wagon wheels with a very good set of tires. (517) 279 9229
I hate to be a stick in the mud but the prices are firm. A very, very nice C5. Crap, I can't believe I'm hitting the "Submit" button.
