2001 Speedway white Z06; what are they worth
I would like to find a clean Speedway white 2001 Z06 and was wondering what is the going rate for such a car? Is the one year only color something I can expect to pay a premium for or is that a non issue?
I have been looking for a nice clean '01 Z06 in my area and have found nothing that's reasonably priced (under 23k).
What are the best sites to locate such a car and what should I expect to pay?

I would use KBB or Edmunds to get an idea what the price of the car should be:

01 was the only year for SW and you will most likely pay a premium for a car with no issues and decent mileage.
They built 352 SW Z06's and 137 (I think the number us correct) had mod red interiors.
I sold my torch red Z06 and paid a premium for my SW Z06 with under 40k miles last year. I love the car and would do it again today if I had to make the same choice again.

I got my SW Z06 about 3years ago with 53K on it for 25K. I have put on just over 20K on it since I got it. When I was looking back then they were nothing special. In the last year I have seen price's for them go up. I'm kind of looking at getting a C6 Z06 or viper in the next year and I bet they demand and price on sw's will rise more.

Yeah, I have never understood why white was the least favorite color, or at least the least ordered (if I recall right). Beautiful cars, I hope to own a white C5 someday, but I likely won't find a z06 after seeing those numbers.
But it's good to know they're still being sold. Actually I think I saw one on here not too long ago.

I did a test drive on this 01 speedway white/mod red in Feb. Bad luck as there was a snow storm that blew in the this Saginaw, Michigan dealer on the day I showed up. (you can see it at the base of the sign)
I went back the next weekend and checked it out when the roads were clear and dry.
Here is the new owner on the day he picked it up. He is a forum member and lives in Houston. He posted up a video of the experience. Maybe he will step in and post it up again for all to see.
Sweet car with low miles. Dealer was asking mid 20s. Seemed like the mileage was in the 40s. Not exactly sure what he paid for it though.

Here is the link with the forum post of the video. Fun trip, and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Although the miles are low I would take a real close look at this one if you're considering it. The side emblems look a little "off". Also, didn't the 01 have the same emblem on the deck lid as my 02 Z does ?
