Default 01 QS zo6 16k NM clean car

First sorry for making a new post i think i am missing a lot of people because they cannot see price in the title. If intrested original post ist here http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-c...01-qs-zo6.html

Due to my stupidity someone is going to get a great deal on my 01 z06. I must sell it before the end of the month. It is a 01 Quicksilver Z06 with 54k miles, i am the thrid owner of the car, it has a clean carfax, Has vararam intake, headers, cags skip shift and column lock bypass already done ready for your daily driver. Pics are old will get new pics tomorrow. There are only three things wrong with this car and i will be upfront about them. Small 1/4 to 1/2 spot in drivers seat where the stiching has started to come undone. Plastic control panel that houses seat controls on drivers seat is broke, more then likely due to my big butt sitting on it, price from chevy around 100 bucks. And when i put the headers on the exhast line up when i welded it is not correct so the catback peice is at a weird angle, and it shows because one tip is higher then the other, can be corrected at a exhaust shop for under a hundred dollars. Car is still financed at my local home town bank. Located in Roswell, NM
Starting price 17k
Lowered to 16k rock solid on price
http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/Pric...uizConditions=

Edit
a few things i forgot to mention right front rim has some minor curb rash it is in one of the pics
Type of headers on the car, these are without the AIR port so during car warm up the comp will throw a AIR code after the car is warm and you reset the code it will not come on again unless the engine cools Showed in this picture http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/IMG_0884.jpg
http://www.thelapd.com/profile.asp?I...&CategoryID=51
Prefer cash transactions bank has title ready to release when we both walk in and pay it off then i can sign it over but the payoff must be in cash for them to realease title. If not cash must wait until my bank confirms funds are safe into my account for release of car or title.

I bet if you fix those small issues, clean and detail the interior/exterior and engine bay, you will sell it in a week.

Not to sound smartassed but i bet you will never find another deal on a car in anywhere a remotley goad of shape as this. If a lil dirt scares someone away then so be it.

Well, ad me to your hate list. I was going to tell you the same thing.

Don't be so narrow minded. When we see a car as filthy as this one we think that it has problems and has not been taken care of. We expect to see a 1993 Nissan Sentra this filthy, NOT an American legend sports car.

So, give her a damn bath, take some new pictures and you'll probably sell it the next day.

Good luck!

You have to understand most Corvette owners mentalities. They would rather park the car in the garage and wash and wax it 4 times a week, then drive it. if one is dirty, it turns their stomachs. Don't ask me why, but thats just the way it is. Fortunatly, I am one of the ones who like to drive them like thy were meant to be driven, and dont worry if its dirty or not. For 16k, they can take the thousands they are saving and go get it detailed if they want. Free bump

Exactly my thoughts dirt by no means shows anything about how a car is kept or taken care of. Sorry but if you lived in New Mexico you would understand that the dust is constant. And while yes i could have polished it up and made it prettier, i am buy no means representing this car as a garage queen so it should not be expected for the engine bay to look like it just came off the showroom floor.

I just have to get my 2 cents worth in. First impressions are everything and if your trying to sell a car in this economy every little bit helps. Go the extra mile. People will respond to a cleaner car.
