1997 Fairway Green Corvette, ~125k miles, $12,000obo
SOLD!!!
One of only 155 made in 1997 this color! You won't see another one this color on the streets! I was the ONLY Fairway Green car at the Bloomington Gold Corvette show at Pheasant Run last year. Bought it about a year ago from California. I absolutely love it, but I'm looking to get rid of a few bills for now and then pick up more of a sports/luxury sedan down the road.
~125k miles on the car.. automatic transmission and electronic HVAC unit was replaced at 100k miles, battery was also replaced with an AC Delco about the same time. Front brakes have about 10k miles on the rotors, calipers, and pads. Spark plugs have 10k miles on them. Changed the coolant out last year with regular green stuff (I'm not a fan of DexCool). Sylvania Silverstar headlights.
Only performance modifications are a K&N air filter and ported throttle body.
Windows are tinted... not sure what % as I bought the car that way. I lowered the car and put Bilstein Sport shocks on it. I also tinted the front turn signals, rear marker lights, brake lights, and reverse lights. They aren't that dark, just enough to take away the brightness of the red.. looks classy, not overdone...clearcoated and polished. Rear bumper also has been painted with a black accent around the exhaust area to look similar to the $400 plastic piece you can buy to stick on.
Black interior is in nice shape, power sport seats, though the driver side air bags leak down a bit. Has electronic dual-zone climate control and the memory package. Has a new cup holder door, but the hinge pins and spring are not there. Stereo is an Alpine CDA-9885 with iPod cable run to the center console glove box.
Comes with both a body-colored roof and a clear roof.
Has some paint scrapes on the lower part of the front bumper cover from steep inclines but is hardly noticeable. The only "noticeable" scratch on the car is in front of the rear wheel below the passenger door. Not very big, and low to the ground, so I never bothered having it fixed.
Front tires are 275/40R17 Hankook Ventus with 3-4k miles on them. The rears are 295/35R18 BFG KD's with LOTS of tread left. They were on a road racing track car for one day, and I bought them after that. Perfect sizes for upgrading to Z06 wheels.
I've made a few passes at the track in it.. went 13.15@106.x last May before the ported throttle body. Best MPH was 108.x if I remember right.
I've got quite a few pictures, but I'm not on that computer right now to upload them. I'll get them up in the next day or two.
Car is definitely not perfect, but its in very nice shape for ~125k miles. Good way for someone younger to get into a solid Corvette.
Looking for $12,000obo. Clean and clear title in hand. Just passed IL emissions with it last week. Paperwork is in the glovebox. Sorry, not interested in any trades currently.
