Default 2002 Torch red Z06 For sale.

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Miles: 52k
Price: 15k Firm
Color: Torch red
Interior: Power drivers seat, Mod red interior
Wheels: Stock chrome Z06 wheels

The Bad:

Synchro for second gear may be going out.

A couple of very small rock chips in the paint on the front, I will show these in pics to come at a later date.

2 very tiny nicks in the windshield, I will also take a picture of these.

Light wear on the trim around the radio.

Tear in the hood liner from when the belt broke 2 seasons ago.

Previous owner curbed the passenger front wheel, left marks in the chrome lip.

Currently has the dreaded EBCM issue.

Also has the intermittent turn signals, which is a bad hazard switch.

That is all for known issues. This car did have the steering wheel lock issue, and the bypass kit was installed. I can fix the EBCM, turn signals, hood liner, if the offer on the car is right.

Car currently had C5-R style headlights, but does have perfect stock headlights that will come with the car.

This car starts up and runs like a champ every day, never gives me any issues.

Engine has never been opened or touched.

Had new K&N air filter, plugs and wires during last years tune ups.

Oil is changed every 3000 miles.

This car has been my daily driver to and from work for the past 3 years, and has been great to me.

Car is really very clean, it just needs a tiny bit of TLC to be perfect.

The economy has caught up to me and I need to let her go unfortunately, though it will break my heart to do so.

You can get in touch with me by this website, or by my email (JJLawrence787@Gmail.com)

I will give the car a nice bath and get some new pics Friday, and possibly a video of startup and cruising. I do have some older pics, before and after the headlight conversion. Email me if you would like to see those.

Any general questions or comments please post here, and I will get back to you.

If you are local I welcome you to come out and take a look, I am willing to let you take it around the block but please serious buyers only, no joy rides.

Thanks for reading,

JJ.

Thanks for the intrest guys. Ill post some pics as soon as I get home from work. I would also like to add that until this car is sold I am still daily driving it, so mileage may vary some. Also, at this time I cannot take a trade on this car. I need the cash from selling it to pay off the remainder on the loan. You know its kind of sad, you pay big payments on a car for 4 years, to find out that it's still only worth about what you owe on it.

The spots on the front are water. I had just washed it and rolled it over there to dry/wax it.

I'd like to see the C5R headlights opened up and painted TR to match the car. I'm thinkin it'd look a lot better because it wouldn't break the front end up as much.

Good luck with that sale...tough times...at least Osama no longer has to deal with all of this...hehe.

Clean car, GLWS!

Don't suppose you'd be interested in trading the mod red interior for all black would ya? I'm fairly close

Alright, the car still has the issues I listed, price without me fixing those issues is now 17.5k.

I need this gone now, and it's priced to move!

Car now needs a clutch. Drives fine, but has trouble going into second over 15 mph (Grinds a bit). I don't have the money for the clutch, so one of two option here.

1. The sale is postponed until I can get the money for a clutch, clutch kit is 300$.

2. Can sell as is, and drop the price to 17k flat.

Sorry for the inconvenience to all that have pmed/emailed me and are interested.

Are you sure that it's the clutch and not the gear syncros?
Thanks

I'll let you know when I find out. If it's gear synchros I'll just let the car go for 15k flat...
