2004 C5Z - Built, Blown, 22k miles = a perfect 805rwhp
Well....I have thought long and hard about this, as Bret and Arun can confirm, but it is time for me to part with my baby. This car's history is well documented on the forum by myself as well as by the previous owners. If you are looking for a z06 that you can use to take a date on, then to a car show, then to your neighborhood track or to "mexico," this car is it.
2004 Torch Red C5Z06
21,900 miles
2,300 miles on the motor and clutch
The car made 805/735 on 14lbs of boost....the motor was built for 1200. Has a TON left in the car with the swap of a pulley
HKE 403 (shortblock alone was $4600, not including the cost of the cam and heads)
-Dragonslayer crank (their high end/high hp crank, not the C-series you see in most builds)
-Callies Compstar rods
-Weisco 20cc pistons with GFX rings
-ACL rod bearings
-LS7 lifters
-ARP hardware throughout
-LS9 gaskets
-Melling high volume oil pump
-ECS blower cam
-AFR 205 heads
The motor was properly broken-in with Joe Gibbs break in oil, which was changed after 500 miles, then the oil was changed another time after 1,000 miles.
ECS Novi 2k with their 8-rib setup
ECS stage 2 fuel system
-80# injectors
ECS/alky control meth system
Mcleod RXT clutch and steel flywheel
Magnaflow exhaust
American racing headers with 3" mid pipe, no cats
Dewitts radiator and spal fans
CCW Classics
Ipod connection
Shift light
AFR/fuel psi/boost gauges
C6 shifter
DBA rotors and Hawk pads (less than 1k miles)
The car will also come with a 5 gallon race fuel tank that I used to hold my meth; there is approx 3 gallons left. Also included is two brand new belts.
The car was built and tuned by one of the best, Bret Bradbury (aka Blownbluez06). The car is located in Dallas, TX. I have attached some pictures below. Let me know if you have any questions as I would be happy to field them. If you would like to see the car, send me a pm and we can meet up. As for more pictures, I will work on them, but I just had knee surgery so it could be a day or two. I have spoken with Bret and he is happy to answer any questions about the car as he has touched almost every drivetrain bolt on the car.
I am asking $30,000 for her, which, in my opinion, is a fantastic price for what is on the car, and the power it makes. I'm not into pricing games so my lowest price, at this time, is $30k; playing the "I'll post it up for 33k then accept 30k" game is not what I do.
Feel free to send me an email to rbmeck (at) yahoo (dot) com.
