FS: 2001 Convertible Mag Red C5 Supercharged C5R (916rwhp/795rwtq) w/24K - Cary, NC
Deposit received, Sale Pending.
SOLD Congratulations to Casey on his Corvette purchase. Very nice meeting and doing business with you.
FS: 2001 Convertible Mag Red C5 Supercharged C5R w/24K - Cary, NC
Local Sale only
(916rwhp ~1050 Flywheel - 795rwtq ~900 Flywheel TQ)
Selling because I've lost interest. Driven 100 miles in the last 3 years.
Never used Armor All or anything like that on the interior.
Garage kept and has only seen rain 5 or 6 times.
I'm the 2nd owner and I purchased it with 7600 miles.
Car is scary fast!
Asking $17,500 OBO, I have ~150K invested
Modifications
Won Corvette Museum Top 10 in 2005 in C5/C6 Bash Celebrities choice and was picked by Gary Pratt of
Pratt & Miller Engineering / Le mans Racing
known Issues:
C5 Gas Gauge issue - ~2/3 of tank drops to Empty on gauge
Leaking oil around bottom side of valve covers
Raptor Shift light has become disconnected, which I believe when new alcohol pump was installed
Scratched inside of wind sheild on passender side. Can be buffed out using glass polishing kit
Hood liner replaced 3 times as Tial blowoff value keeps ripping through them with the forced air

93 Octane is what I run. I forgot that I have an almost full 5 gallon can of Torco Mach U Pro racing fuel that goes with the car.

C5R block alone is 5/6k (I would speculate there are only a few dozen produced???)
LS7 heads/intake/jesel/AA YSI/ECS fuel/Callies/HRE's/ATI 8rib...........nice build!!!
Glad to see it headed out west; I lived on Luke AFB for 4 years, ZERO moisture/humidity keeps cars looking mint
