Default I will give you $14K

I will give you $14K for your vette, let me know if interested. Its not a bad deal I sold my 2000 conv with 38K miles 4 years ago for $20K (it was a black manual). Rarely do you get the money back for modifications.

Thanks,
Gil

Beautiful car! For those who don't know, Slowhawk is the LSX guru in the Northeast when it comes to building/programming these motors. Wish this car was within my budget. Good luck on the sale.

Gil, no way. Thanks for the offer, but im not an idiot. thats 5 grand below dealer auction. i know i wont get money back for the mods... thats why i listed the car for NADA retail. thats lower than even KBB trade in value. the car is fairly priced, and i didnt add a dime more to the asking price for any of the mods. i appreciate the offer, but i could get more than that as a trade in at the dealer. if you want a vette for 15k, go get a 98-01 coupe with over 100k miles on it... not an 03 magazine feature car.

H82GOSLW, thank you very much!!!

cheers,
Pete

Just to be fair, the May edition of Galves ( dealer trade book used here in nj) lists an 03
Vert with 76k miles for:

14950

Add 750 for 50th ann
Add 300 for 6 spd
Add 100 for adj susp
Add 200 for magn wheels

So fair private party would be 2000 over give or take. Galves bases their pricing on real sales - auctions etc. KBB is generally regarded as junk pricing which is why I see 99 Verts listed at 23,900 for months and months.it does not reflect what these cars are actually selling for. Exceptions are always made for cars that are pristine low mile examples.

If you actually readmy post, I said I listed thecar for NADA retail, NOT kbb. If I wanted to be low balled with a BS dealer price pal, id be at a dealer. Your post is not relevant to this sale and is an interference.

Your car looks great and is priced reasonably! I would be interested if I had not just purchased a stock 03 Anniversary model with 35K on the odometer. I paid $22,500 only because it had new rubber. Yours should go for at least that amount!

Good luck with your sale.

Sorry you took offense to that. It certainly wasn't meant as such. It was more of an FYI . It wasn't BS. If you pm me , I'll send you a screenshot of that info from the actual book.

I wish you the best with your sale.

it sure came off as mean. honestly though, i know what black book value is. i am asking NADA retail value exactly. in my opinion, being much much much lower than KBB retail, what im asking is a fair price. I did say that i would entertain all offers, but they must be reasonable.
thank you for your information.

Listen you asked for an offer and that is what I am willing to do, I take you do not like it that is fine. Just let me know if you change your mind or are willing to come down to the mid teens. Best of luck.

Thanks,
Gil

Why would you post a lowball offer on an internet board? You pm them the offer.

Nice car. Should sell when the right buyer see's it.
