Unfortunately, my arthritis is getting the better of me, and I can't really drive this car any more.
So it's time to swap it out for a new toy.
It's been beautiful garage furniture, but it's time for someone to use it for its intended purpose.
2004 Corvette - Commemorative Edition
Car is located in Lincoln, CA
Features:
6 Speed Manual
Heads Up Display
Dual Roof Panels
Memory Seating
Multi-Disc Changer
MSRC (Disabled! See Modifications.)
Modifications:
Tunnel Plate
Crystal clear front corners installed (Originals also included.)
C6 Z06 Shifter w/GM Neutral colored boot
Skipshift Eliminator
Column Lock Bypass
Performance:
RARE and awesome full titanium Corsa exhaust system. http://sky92x.com/corsati.mp3
Amsoil lifetime Air Filter. (Clean with compressed air/vacuum.)
Suspension:
Z06 Springs
Z06 Shocks (MSRC removed from the computer. MSRC controller present in the car. **DO NOT plug in**)
z06 Swaybars
HAWK HPS brake pads
Nitto Tires are at near full tread
Stereo/Electronic:
Sears platinum Diehard battery with heavy duty after market battery posts and larger ground wire.
This car had an after market stereo, it has been returned to stock.
There is extensive sound deadening installed. - Raamat and VLT barriers.
Historic repairs:
Driver's headlight gear stripped, I replaced it with a metal gear.
Rear differential seal - Corrected by dealer.
Lifters replaced by dealer.
Not really problems:
It's worth mentioning that the titanium exhaust is extremely light. It does not put much stress on the hanger springs. When the car is cold, you can hear the exhaust shimmy in the springs. Additionally, there is a very narrow window where the exhaust is hung perfectly. In some cases (Such as turning over a sharp bump) the muffler will tap the bottom of the car with a little thump. If that's an annoyance, past the unsurpassed awesome Corsa Titanium sound, I'm sure you could swap the exhaust with someone running stock, and make some money on top of it to boot.
Extras:
As mentioned, some additional gear oil is included.
I'm also including NEW driver's seat bottom foam. You will need to install it.
I have the diff-vent-on-a-tube workaround (Cadillac TSB for oil from diff vent) put together if you want it. I couldn't get it to stay on the differential case vent.
$21,500

The exhaust is fully titanium from the cats all the way back. There isn't a system out there that can compete, IMO. It's light and amazing. And cost $1800 new if i recall.

It's dark now. Will get interior pics up soon.

Great price on a sweet looking ride that has been carefully modded. This is one of my favorite colors.
Nice add. They should all be this descriptive.
Good luck on your sale. At this price it should go quickly. If I was in the market, I would be all over this.

Well, it's actually LeMans blue which is a little different than Electron Blue.
It was a one-year-only color for the C5.
LeMans Blue is a little darker, if I recall correctly.
