Default WTB 98-04 Coupe with a Manual. $7-12k Salvage and cosmetic issues fine.

Building a track car. 01+ is preferred. If it is a 98-00 it needs to have JL4 active handling.

Mechanical is the most important. It has to run well. Nothing much else other than the above really matters.

I don't want a Z because of the gearing. FRC is fine as long as it has the JL4.

If it is stock I am looking around $6-7k salvage and $8500 clean title.

I will also consider paying low teens for a highly modded car. I have all the stock exhaust, intake, wheels, etc off my Z06 so I would part all the performance stuff out to get my pricing in line.

I need a coupe. A convertible wouldn't work for me.

Thanks and GLWS

TTT

I just missed a 98 coupe with a new clutch so I know they are out there.

I saw a bunch in Texas. I will fly out and drive the right car home or ship.

Don't be afraid if you aren't in SoCal.

I'd be willing to sell mine for 12 if you're interested. It's quite a drive home, but I could put you up in a spare room for the night if you want to gather your strength for the journey.

I was looking at your car earlier. It is very nice but it doesn't really have all that much aftermarket that I could part out. Everything else is something that is nice to have done but isn't something I could sell off the car.

I plan to run the car stock at first and upgrade a piece at a time while learning the car.

Mines above your $ amount but would be a great baseline to build on for the track.

Ive got a black/black c5 6spd, corbeau fx1 seats, vararam intake, borla stingers (also have stock exhaust), mgw shifter, c6z06 replica wheels, c6zr1 front swaybar, c6z51 rear swaybar, metal endlinks, vbp front leaf, z06 rear leaf, c6z shocks. Car handles like its on rails. 101k miles on it

Im located in northern VA. Car is my daily driver and runs great. $13.5k obo

That would save me money on Suspension upgrades so I will definitely keep it in mind. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. I appreciate it.

There are probably 20 for sale under $10k in SoCal right now but every stinking one of them is an auto.

I missed a car with a new clutch in Bakersfield for $8000 so I know it is possible. It is just going to take time.
