F/S: 1999 Nassau Blue Coupe – Minnesota $11,000
Price: $9,000 (updated 8/31/16)
Location: Chisago City, Minnesota
1999 Corvette Coupe in Nassau Blue with the 6 speed manual transmission. I am a non-smoker, this car is clean. Oil changes have all been done on time with Mobile 1. I have both sets of keys/remotes. It runs and drives great, everything works, it has no leaks and it does not overheat. The engine and driveline are bone stock. The computer is programmed to eliminate the skip shift. Also has a Caravaggio fiberglass blower hood, Boyd Coddington wheels, GM bra and a California Car Cover. I also have an extra passenger side seat cover from another car and the stock wheels with tires that would go with it.
This car has 170,000 (updated 2/22/16) miles on it, but it runs and drives great.
The car has a prior salvage title. I purchased the car in the damaged condition, see photos from the day I got it home. The damaged front cross member was replaced by a local Chev dealer and the frame was verified to not be damaged. The airbags are good and did not go off when it was crashed. I replaced all of the damaged parts with new GM parts, not used and no junk parts. The whole car was repainted at a GM dealer. Front end aligned perfectly and tires do not wear odd.
I have driven the car every summer since 2003 and have not had a single problem with is. I would still drive it anywhere. I hate to sell it, but it is time for another project.
Any questions, ask away as I am sure I forgot something.
Tom
Edit: I knew I would forget something...
I removed the entire stock stereo system and installed an in dash DVD player with all new speakers including a 10" sub in the rear well. I did not cut an of the stock wiring and I still have all of the stock components incase someone wants to put it all back in.
Also, I removed the carpet and insulated the entire floor front to back.
I also installed a Kirban shifter.

Forgive my ignorance, this is my first time in the corvette market and looking at cars not on a lot.
How does a salvage title work? With you repairing it to working condition, do you get a "repaired" title? I am not completely literate in this stuff yet.
Also - could you PM me some interior pics? I would love too see the interior!
Thanks man!

I will post up photos of the interior as soon as I can. It is light gray in color.

Was the car disassembled for the repaint? I.e. I hate BSMs and would want to remove them. Was the car painted with them off?

The car was painted all apart. The BSM's were repainted off the car and then reinstalled. You can kind of see in the last photo of the original post they are not on yet.

I just noticed a few things as well there are two spots on the front bumper with new damage. Not sure how or when they even happened! I noticed them when I dropped my keys at the front of the car and went to pick them up.
One is right below the brake duct opening on the drivers side.
The other is on the passenger side below the license plate.
And also a crack on the removable top right above the windshield.

UPDATE: I had a guy take a look at the car today. I was way off on the miles. The car actually has just over 170,000 miles. I haven't driven it in over a year so my memory was off a bit!
