Hello fellow corvette fans!
I just bought this car last year and it's been an absolute blast. It is my first corvette I've owned, and I've loved the vette experience so much that I'm going to sell this one to move up to either a C6ZR1 or C7Z06.

I apologize in advance for the wordy/long FS post, but I know serious buyers want details. New pictures will be coming soon.

I bought this 2002 Z06 in April, 2014 as a second car/weekend cruiser.

It has excellent original silver paint, chrome wheels, black/red leather interior, 6-speed manual transmission, and only 71,500 miles. It's loud and mean sounding, but not too loud. Because it has the big cam installed it does have that awesome "race boat" type sound at idle.
This Vette has a flawless carfax report, no accidents. I've only put about 2,000 miles on it since I bought it and the previous owner only put about 15,000 miles on it over the previous 5 years. I kept a carfax PDF from when i purchased the car and attached a screen shot as a picture.

This car is in great condition and many of the typical C5 Z06 problems have been fixed within the past year, making it a great car for the next owner. This car was also featured in superchevy magazine as part of a huge article detailing major upgrades that were done and the improvement in power. The major engine work for the write up was done by RPM in Texas, a highly regarded shop. That work was done within the past 10,000 miles by the owner prior to me. Before that the car was stock.

This Z06 officially made 461 rear wheel horsepower & 400 rear wheel ft/lbs Torque. This was measured on a Dynojet Dyno. This was an improvement of well over 100 horsepower from stock.

Here are the list of engine modifications done by RPM (Well over $10,000 spent)

-World Warhawk LS1X aluminum heads (11:1 / 62cc chambers / 235mm runners) (135lb on seat / 390lb open pressure)
-New GM Head Gasket
-New GM Head bolts
-REV SS valves (2.08 intake / 1.6 exhaust / 45deg seat / 30deg back angle cut)
-REV Vanadi-Coil Xtreme Endurance Dual Valve Springs (OD 1.34" & rated up to .65 lift)
-REV Seat Locators
-REV Titanium Retainers
-Custom Xtreme Energy RPM (XER) Comp Cam (238/244deg duration / 114deg LSA)
-Comp Magnum Pushrods (7.8inch)
-VMax Port & Polish
-FAST 90mm intake manifold
-NGK TR6 sparkplugs (.038 gap)
-VMax ported 90mm LS2 throttle body
-Casper's Electronics throttle-body-adapter harness
-Halltech C5 Venom air-induction system
-Hurst Short Throw Shifter
-Kooks Headers (2" Primary / 3" collector)
-GM LS7 Clutch/Flywheel (Less than 5,000 miles)
-Transmission Rebuilt (Less than 5,000 miles)
-Rearend Rebuilt (Less than 5,000 miles)
-High Flow Injectors

In addition to those modifications, I added these brand new parts in 2014:
-Borla Stinger Dual Tip Exhaust 140017
-Kooks Catted Midpipe/Xpipe

Around June 2014 I also added a complete sound system, which cost me about $1500.
-Pioneer MVHX560BT Head Unit /w bluetooth
-Polk Audio DB6501 6.5" Front Component Speakers
-Infinity 529I 165W 5.25" Rear Coaxial Speakers
-JL Audio 12w6v2-D4 Subwoofer
-ASC 12" Sub Enclosure
-Rockford Fosqate 4guage pure copper Amp Kit
-JL Audio 500/5 Amp
-Mediabridge RCA Cables
-Front Speaker 6.5" Install Plates

Here is the list of maintenance and fixes done since I purchased the car last year:
-New Toyo Proxes 1 295/35R18 Tires (Installed 1/13/15)
-New AC Delco Professional Battery (Installed 1/8/15)
-Fixed Heads-Up-Display (HUD)
-Replaced HUD Plastic Cover (10425223)
-Fixed HVAC LED screen (very common for the screen to get dim/unreadable)
-New Aluminum Sphere Shift **** (WCLatheC5Alu)
-New Shift Boot Clip
-New AC Delco Right Window Motor
-New AC Delco Left Window Motor
-New Goodyear 4060802 Gatorback Poly-V Belt
-New Defroster Vent Grill
-Serviced Halltech air filter with K&N Filter Recharge kit (12/30/14)
-Full Oil change including Royal Purple 5w30 / ACDelco UPF44 Filter (Done 200 miles ago)
-Tuned by RPM
-New Windshield Wipers (12/30/14

I Have these parts in my hand that need to be installed. I plan to install these soon, so I will update this.
-New Steering Wheel Position Sensor. The Service Active Handeling light is coming on here and there with the error code showing that the SWPS needs to be replaced. I'm planning to have this fixed ASAP, and already have the part in hand. It's a pretty easy fix.
-New Horn Membrane Replacement (Horn Fix)
-Signal Deactivator. This isn't a big deal. Basically the blinker doesn't turn off after a turn unless you click it back to neutral.
-New Hazard switch. Sometimes the blinkers will not "blink" and this is because the hazard light switch is going bad. I have the new one and it's really easy to install, just have not put it in yet.
-Fix Seat Slide: the seat slides about 1/4 inch when braking suddenly, which is one of the most common complaints of corvette drivers. There is a kit made that replaces the stock shims that wear out and makes the seat hold again. This really didn't bother me much so I left it.
-There is a small rip in the leather of the center console. It's only about 1 inch long and very thin. It didn't bother the previous owner and doesn't bother me so I didn't repair or replace it.

I will be updating this ad as time goes by and adding new/better pictures.

Asking Price is $23k. Blue book is just over $16k and with all the engine mods, stereo, and recent service I think the price is fair.

Thanks,
Alex
