SOLD!
Highlights: 2001 Z06 Quick Silver (QS) Odometer 43K (Not Applicable to any part listed below.
I’m the second owner, bought the car in Feb 2008, with a C5R 427 with many upgrades.
In 2009 I upgraded the driveline with a new C6 Z06 TR6060, new Z06 diff & new Z6 rear cradle
In 2010 (Charlie Williams, RPM Motorsports) built a new LS7 engine (old 427 ingested an exhaust valve)
In 2013 after only 2500 miles, I pulled the LS7 heads & had WCCH completely go through them. (Preventative Measures)
I performed a leak down test before removing the heads (every cylinder <3%)
During this down time, I had Jesel rebuild & re-certify the rockers; installed a new Turn-One Power Steering Pump & their upgraded pulley; In addition, Turn-One rebuilt my steering rack, bought new high pressure line, hoses, etc.; put a new power-steering cooler in & installed a new AC compressor, Dryer and Condenser.
2014 – Car is well sorted and it doesn’t burn, blow or leak any fluids of any kind.
• Car 92db and with a little lift up 5 at LSR, should pass 90db)
• Have not been back on dyno since installing stock exhaust but….
Expect ~500RWHP, 490RWTQ, AF <11.5 on 91 pump
Objective:
This car is a track/street purpose built car that is fun to drive on the street and amazing on the track without having to overdrive it. You can add aero and/or remove it as you wish. Keeping it reliable was/is very important so the PCM fuel cut is 6600 even though it can turn >7K. As an early warning, the shift light is set to 6200. All GM emissions equipment installed Exception: Callaway Honker Air Intake but it does have CARB #. Meets OBDII “Ready” requirements and passes smog in California.
Overall Car Condition:
Exterior & Interior are in really good condition for being a track car. Car isn’t perfect and does have paint chips. The only minor damage is on the passenger lower rocker panel just below the door. I went off track (T-Hill) and a lonely rock found the bottom rocker. (I have the video clip so you can see it wasn’t anything violent) It’s not real noticeable but it’s still there regardless. The car has heat-shielding material to protect all critical areas which keeps bushings, connectors, hoses, lines, starter etc. in reliable working condition. The car doesn’t have stray electrical wires and time was taken to label anything installed.
