2002 Z06, Black on Black, $14,000
Life has a funny way of changing around one. I now have a new son, and a new job in the frozen north. It's time to move on from Corvettes for a little while. Can't get a car seat in there, you know.
C6 wheels, very new Nitto Invo tires (less than 3000 miles), newer brakes. Looks very good for ~160k miles. Don't let them deter you, though. She runs like a top, starts up every time, doesn't burn any oil and will never leave you stranded. The paint isn't perfect, but not beat up by any stretch of the word. I'd call it a 7/10 at least.
Hood is the pretty rare Doug Rippie motorsports hood. It helps extract heat from under the hood (to the tune of ~4 degrees in the oil and coolant at highway cruise) but also helps reduce underhood pressure at high speeds.
Headlights are the RadioFlyer stealth lights. They ROCK. The original pop-up lights come with it, but I don't know why you'd change them out. Almost all the interior and exterior bulbs have been switched for LEDs.
Custom audio system installed, with 6.5" Infinity Reference component speakers in the doors and in custom speaker pods that are sitting over the less than stellar 5.25" stock speakers. All the original wiring is still in place, and all the original stereo components come with it. The bezel has been modified by DoubleD mods for a double din radio, current a Parrot Asteroid Smart. Also has a kicker 8" Solobaric woofer.
The seats were pretty much gone (darn that cheap foam) so I swapped them for 2009 Z06 seats with new leather covers. They are so very comfortable!
Other mods done are subtle, and include:
RPM Stage IV transmission
C6Z06 sway bars and shocks
Remote clutch bleeder installed
LS7 clutch
MGW short throw shifter
Hardbar harness bar and seat harness mounts
Carbon Fiber prop shaft
Sound deadening installed under all carpet and inside door panels.
Oil pressure sensor relocation done.
This is a great car at a great price! I've taken care of all the fluids, oil, and everything needed regularly. Currently located in Huntsville, AL, and I am living at working in Dayton, OH. I'm willing to work with the buyer to deliver the car and the spare parts I have. I have most of the original parts to go along with the car.
Price is $14,000. If you want to put in your own stereo system (head unit and amp) I'll take them out and the price is $13,000.
Let me know if you have any questions. Feel free to make an offer, but remember this is a Z06, still one of the fastest cars on the road and good for many many more miles of pure driving enjoyment.
Note: I had the HVAC switched to LED, and a few have them have gone out. The HVAC operates perfectly, though. Just getting it all out there.

I don't have any more with me. I'll look when I get home, but if you google search images for "DRM hood" you'll see a bunch. Thanks for looking!

More pics!
There's a walk around video, but I'm trying to get a better copy before I post it.
