I've been following this and if you want something by next week you are going to need to loosen your criteria a little bit. Good luck with your quest. C5s are fun to drive and you will end up loving whatever you get.

At this time, it's definitely a buyers market for the c5 and c6. Not really looking to settle, looking for a "forever" car. It has been challenging this far though... lots of people that start talking to me about their car... then disappear when they realize I am serious. The first time I was looking.. i gave up. I am more determined this time! Thanks for the kind words

Black interior, mostly stock exterior... and some go fast parts. Sounds simple to me

I am not trying to get you to buy something you don't want but just some statistics to think about. You have manual and coupe only in your post. For 2003, 51% of all Corvettes are ruled out because of automatic trans and convertibles make up 40% of production. That brings you down to about 20% of all corvettes made.

Go fast parts are only going to be on a small percentage of the left over 20%. I would say no more 5%. Interior color limits your choice even further.

I would say you are looking for what is probably, at most, 1% of the Corvettes out in the world so it will be a tough road.

No I hear you for sure!! Most are definitely autos / verts / bone stock or very close.

Here on the forum is where I can find more manual cars that have been modded a little by enthusiasts. That's why I am here .

The two cars I have seen on here that fit my criteria were sold in two days.!!

That is not surprising. They are rare apples. If you are in the Northeast you have the benefit of a lot of Corvette owners. Especially where I live on Long Island. Corvettes are ubiquitous here.

There is a large amount sitting in garages here in Florida... they are never driven and never sold. Kind of strange
