That said, I'm actually in Cape Coral/Ft. Myers and I've had my eye on this car. If I didn't have a lease I was a bit underwater on, and wasn't unsure of financing for an older vehicle, we would already be talking. How is USAA regarding financing options? Do you have any experience with them buying out a lease and rolling the difference (with some reasonable cash out of pocket) into the loan?

USAA will finance an older vehicle. Just bought mine from an owner that had it financed at USAA. USAA customer service was exceptional for me and the seller. I didn't finance through them though, no military affiliation. I wish I could have used them, their customer service is seriously amazing.
If you have a scenario you are curious about just give them a call and they will tell you everything you need to know!

Thanks guys.
Car will be paid off in July and I am looking to move up to a more expensive vehicle... so yes, not looking for heroin money. I had to laugh earlier because Carmax gave a higher offer.
USAA is a awesome company to work with, they will finance just about anything (old/rebuilt etc) provided you are under their 110% loan valuation and of course have the credit to back it up.
