Is it worth $13k
Hello,
I was looking at 1999 C5 Corvette at private dealer today and he was asking for $13k. Thats the least he will go.
It has $142000 miles and the car is from PA.
More details about the car can be found in the website:

I needed a used Corvette to drive around for 2 years before I get a C7 Z06.
Do you think I should go with it?

Higher miles and an undesirable color, I wouldn't give more than 10K for it here. Not sure what your market is like, but it's overpriced by mine. Really all comes down to you.

worth it???
Short answer...absolutely not.
The car was undoubtedly bought at auction, likely for around 6500 to 7500. Car lot is asking waaay high, knowing he has a lot of wiggle room. If it is a real gem, truly nice, I would not pay a dime over 10K for it, after having it checked out thoroughly. It would be worth that to find out if you really like having a Vette before you plunk down more money on a newer one. Just my O.

As a dealer, I can tell you for sure that C5's like that don't go through for that low. He's more than likely sitting around $8500-$9500, which is still plenty high on the mark up. It takes 200K miles to get into the 6's.

OP, it seems clean, but it's priced high considering the miles. I'd keep looking.
I recently paid 16 for a 2000 magnetic red on black z51 6speed coupe with 45k miles. Not cheap, but it's all worth it.
If I was spending 13, I'd expect <100k miles.
