Modded 98 m6 for sale
Up for sale is my 1998 Chevrolet C5 Corvette 6speed. I have had the car for almost three years. I bought the car with just under 78000 miles and it now has around 81498. The car was near stock when it was purchased, and it now has Z06 wheels with BFGoodrich KDW-2 all the way around, 295/35/18 rear and 275/40/17 front with approximately 500 miles on them. New, drilled and slotted rotors with new pads. Windows are tinted to 20%, the car is lowered on stock bolts, not too much, the front park lights have black out covers, rear marker lights, tail lights and reverse lights were professionally spray tinted. Reverse lights and license plate lights were replaced with LEDs. Interior is mostly stock, as seen in the pictures, all lights were replaced with LED, and a short throw shifter was also installed. Driver's seat does have 2 wear holes from entering/exiting the car, and the center arm rest has 3 small slits. There is no check engine light and nothing has been cleared. The service tire monitoring system does come on periodically from a battery going dead in one of the tire pressure sensors. The ash tray is now the on/off switch and purge button for the nitrous system, which can be moved if desired. Under the hood is the LS1 with afe stage 2 cold air intake, LS6 intake manifold swap painted gloss black, the camshaft was installed at 80,000 miles and is a Texas Speed Torquer V2 232/234 .595/598 112LSA cam along with PRC 1518 .625 single beehive valve springs, Texas Speed chromemoly 7.400 pushrods, Gm Ls2 newer style timing chain, Melling LS6 oil pump, the oil pressure sensor has been replaced along with new idler pulleys and new Goodyear gator-back belts the car. It also has nitrous, the 10lb bottle sets in the back of the car. The jets that are in the car now are right at a 100hp shot. There is also a purge solenoid vented to the passengers side just under the window. The system is controlled by a dynotune all-in-one window switch/full throttle switch and lets you customize what rpm the nitrous turns on and off and how much it sprays and how fast it builds, along with a few other options. The nitrous has been used about five times for tuning reasons, not even a full bottle. The car computer was tuned by "TunesByFrost" out of Richmond, Va. and is still very street drivable. Texas Speed 1-3/4 long tube headers and 3" off road x-pipe have been installed and only driven approximately 200 miles since. The car has the borla quad stingers and sounds very aggressive with this setup. It runs very well and shifts great!The Corvette has been very well taken care of, and has always been washed or wiped down every time it has been taken out. Always serviced with Mobile1, the car has never seen snow and has never been in the rain since it has been in my ownership. It is very dependable, even with the modifications, and anyone wanting to look at the car is welcome. The car is paid for, and I do have the clear title through the state of West Virginia in hand waiting to be signed over. Asking price 15,800

What kind of horsepower numbers are you getting?
What is the low end power like....what RPM does the "power band" kick in with that camshaft?
