2003 Corvette Z06. 405hp 6sp manual. Electron Blue Metallic. All Black interior. Heads Up Display, Memory Package, Body Side Moldings, Electochromic mirrors, Rear Axle 3.42 ratio MSRP $50,930
For Sale $23,300 78k+ mi. Heavily refreshed and maintenance modded. Here is the story:
Purchased in Charlotte NC . Original owner stated car used as daily driver and some track duty. Over this time he had MTI Racing in GA install Canton ACCUSUMP system with remote high performance oil filter. Heavy Duty radiator with integrated oil cooler. T1 Transmission cooler. DRM brake ducts. Titanium caliper pistons SS braided brake lines using ATE Super Blue fluid. Also had it corner weighted and balanced. Maintenance well documented.
Since my purchase in July of 2012 (@72kmi), have installed MGW short throw shifter, C6 shifter box and Dynomat heat barrier sheets. Elite Engineering PCV oil catch can, UHMW rocker panel rails and 1/4 Thick Aluminum Ceramic Coated Tunnel Plate with Thermal-Abs. Shocks replaced with '04 Z06 "Nurburgring" units. All brake calipers rebuilt/overhauled. Using Carbotech pads. Reset cooling system with flush, Samco Sport silicon hose kit, all tensioners, idlers and belts. RPM Motorsports in NC preventively replaced valve springs with PAC Beehive 1218 + GM seal/seats, MSD wire set, NGK-55 V-Power plugs, flushed trans w/Mobil 1 SYN ATF, diff Mobil 1 gear oil and GM additive, flush/inspect/refill ACCUSUMP. GMP Performance Installed Recaro Sportster CS (reclineable) seats on sliders, Brey-Krause Harness Bar kit, Schroth Profi II-FE asm 4pt FIA/DOT harnesses and SLP Skip Shift Eliminator. Tick Performance installed Monster Level 2 Clutch (rated @ 550rwhp/550rwtq) & Flywheel Package with lightweight (18lbs) flywheel and remote clutch SPEEDbleeder. Freeman's installed JL Audio Sub and bridged amplifier with remote Bass ****. Also has the lighter weight Optima REDTOP Battery.
Comes with two sets of Speedline wheels, silver and black. Silver set has Continental Extreme Contact touring tires. Black set are NITTO NT05's that have 2 track days and 2 auto x’s on them. Multiple sets of brake pads and rotors including fantastic CarboTech XP10 and XP8’s. C5 Aluminum jacking pads in Red.
Have original window sticker. Maintenance records from both owners. 50th Anniversary badging, GM paperwork, promotional media and other Corvette paraphernalia. Wolf Car cover, bra, original seats and take off parts.
No engine power mods yet. Stock air filter and intake. All efforts so far have been for reliability, cool running and safety. Runs and drives strong. I have enjoyed sorting this machine over the past 3 years and now my situation has changed. The car is not being used as intended and have put less than 500 miles on it in last 8 months. Ready for new owner to enjoy as-is or build horsepower. Use for track events, car shows or daily driver. Electron Blue color always gets comments. Right year/color/package. Fully sorted with less than 78,500 miles on it. Seeking like-minded care taker. Please PM with contact information.
