Default WTB: 2000 - 2004 C5 Convertable

I am looking for a 2000 - 2004 Convertible, Automatic Transmission, Low Miles, Clean Carfax and Tasteful Mods are acceptable.

The colors I will consider are: LaMans Blue, Machine Silver, 50th Anniversary Red or Medium Spiral Grey, Black and Whit. I am in Indiana and prefer not to travel very far to take delivery.

Will pay up to $25,000 for the right C5.

Looks like I'll be holding on to my money a little while longer. Maybe Spring of 2016 will bring a change in C5 availability.

Seen it, like it, would have bought it but can't get past the stripes and skirts. Couldn't understand why he put skirts on a non wide body C5.

Didn't initially realize it was your C5. It's a beautiful color combination, great miles. I could do without the Manual Transmission but it boost residual value. Question, did you have to drill into the fiberglass in order to install the Skirts and has anyone been interested in buying the Skirts from you.

I remember asking you a few months back, did the Stripes come off easily and without leaving any visible sings or at least I think that I asked and the answer was that they came off. Please confirm.

Thanks

Not a problem....yes they can be removed. I had to redo a section on the hatch and it came off in one piece with no visible signs.
Before I put the new section I detailed the area.
Yes I had to drill into the fiberglass for the skirt installation and, no one has asked me to just sell them the skirts.
Rear rubber is a 305x19

Well folks, we just got our first snow fall of the season. That takes a lot of Corvettes that are sitting out in inclimate weather on car lots off of the list of desirable. At least for me it does.

Thank God for garages.

I have found several vehicles that I am interested in buying. To that end, I requested an estimate for inclosed transport for a vehicle ten (10) hours away.

I did the same thing several years ago and received a quote that I felt was unreasonable and when I asked for an explanation of price, I was told that it was because of gas prices being almost $5.00 a gallon.

Well, gas is now $1.99 a gallon and I still received a quote that I feel is unreasonable.

This is one reason why sales of vehicles beyond a certain distance are down, Transporters seem to want too eat up any savings you may gain on your purchase! You save it, they claim it.

Thanks for the PM. You may be right, I will start looking and create a post in the "C6 Corvettes For Sale" Thread, it can't hurt and I'll get more Corvette for the money.
