Default WTB - track-ready C5

FOUND ONE - Thanks!

NOT looking for a "garage queen" - roll bar, racing seats, suspension upgrades all welcome. While a "Z" may be preferred, all possibilities will be considered.
Lemme' know what you've got!

Default Talked

to a couple of guys - great looking rides but not quite what I was looking for (little too much power - I'm not ready for THAT big of a change! ).
So, I'm still looking!

I'm in the same boat. Too bad I don't have an unlimited fund.

Guess we'll have to wait till the end of track season. Of course, that means my price paid will go down as well.

I was planning to list my 2000 C5 Pewter Coupe for sale in the next few weeks but saw your post and one other and figured I would tell you about it in case it would be of interest.

I bought the car in 2008 from a man in Detroit with the intent of my youngest son purchasing it from me or using it for a HPDE car. He used it in one HPDE and I did one with it. I also have a 09 Z06 which I prefer.

The history is a bit odd so here goes.---The man in Detroit purchased it from a company named RevExtreme based in Florida. They used it as a show car and among other things it has a Caravaggio rear end, integrated roll bar, and various interior upgrades. The car has functional C5 Z06 rear brake ducts and Z06 brakes front and rear. They did have a big block 504 engine in it but took it out and put a 2004 LS-1 with a pretty large cam, headers and cold air intake before selling it. I do not know other details but it is extremely strong and was told it dynoed at 400rwtrq but never had it checked. I was told the transmission was built by RPM and the rear by Dynotech but do not have proof. It has a 4 point harness but the standard seats so the harness will not work, obviously they had other seats in it before sale.
The car has larger sway bars but do not remember the brand. It also has the "hardbar" system on the front suspension.

If you are interested please pm me.

Mine has the power for the street and track, make it your own with cage, etc. on a budget.

http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/5185121983.html

2000 Corvette Coupe - Z06 Wheels and Trim.

Beautiful condition, extremely fun to drive. Very fast!

Clean title, Clean Carfax.

Stock LS1 engine (as far as I can tell).

Stock exhaust.

6 psi ProCharger Stage 1 kit with dual intercoolers. 4.3" pulley. 36 lb/hr injectors. Vector tune.

Dyno'd and tuned (8/21/15) at 435 RWHP and 411 RWTQ at 6.7 psi before redline. This was performed on a 'stingy' MUSTANG dyno, not a DynoJet.

Excellent condition. Loaded with creature comforts.
* HUD (see pic, looks like an airplane cockpit at night!)
* Full power Leather seats
* Ice cold A/C
* Removable Targa top
* Tilt/Telescopic wheel
* Six speed manual
* 3.42 gears

Also included but never used is a Nitrous Express 100 shot kit!

Brand new clutch master cylinder installed this week.

Brand new fuel rail.

Brand new belt installed after the dyno pulls (was slipping after the first pull on the dyno)

No tire kickers, joy riders, or kids. This is a serious machine for serious experienced drivers. Serious buyers will get a ride with me driving. Serious buyers with agreed upon CASH in hand will be able to drive it themselves.

$17,500 is my starting price. I'll entertain realistic cash offers, but I do NOT need to sell. This car is too nice of condition and way too powerful to just give away.

Thank you for your interest. You will LOVE to own this car!

I have a 2002 Quicksilver Z51 Coupe and 6 speed. 56,400 miles... light modifications to the suspension to bring up to Z06 handling: I have added genuine GM Z06 wheels, Z06 magnesium exhaust and upgraded the suspension to all Z06 components (shocks, springs, stabilizer bars). The car has been dialed in and balanced. This car is also Preferred Equipment group 2: sport seats, heads up display, seat memory, tilt/telescopic wheel, acrylic roof panel, fog lamps, dual zone climate. The original paint is in excellent condition. I just completed a track day at Putnam this weekend and the car performed very well! I have included a few picks from the NCM track earlier this year.

I have this car listed for $17,500 but will sell for $15,500 for a quick no hassle transaction. I have purchased a 1970 LT-1 and need room in the garage.

Great beginner track car at a great price... Any interest?
