SOLD 2004 Corvette Z06 converted to convertible Heads/Cam built trans TX
2004 Corvette Z06 - yes its a real Z06 with the S in the vin denoting the LS6.
NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS OR CODES IN THE DIC
I had some requests to hear it running so here you go, it can be much louder with replacement of the titanium mufflers but I like the sound they give
.
The car has a salvage title from 2008, it required the rear bumper, deck lid, and quarter panel. At that time the car was converted to a convertible using all oem GM parts. This conversion is very rare and runs about $12k. I've never seen another one in person. I do have pics of the damage from 2008.
I just had a new HUD GM original windshield installed. The car drives perfect. The suspension feels as smooth as factory on the current settings. The DSS couplers did increase the NVH a bit, and the exhaust rubs on the DTE diff brace (easily removed and in high demand if you don't want it). All mods were chosen with drive-ability and reliability as the most important factors, eventually I was planning to road race it but as you know life gets in the way and I never even put a cage in. Car has never seen the drag strip.
SOLD TX TITLE IN HAND The reason I'm selling is to acquire a vehicle from a friend of mine.

Stunning. Amazing body, definitely better topless though
...The lady isn't bad either
On a serious note, nice car & exactly what I'm after. I'm just not in a position to buy yet but good luck with the sale

Sad day. Someone ruined a great car. Tell me you didn't convert it. =( Can't imagine a single good reason to convert a z06 to a convertible seeing as you can get a c5 convertible for half the price.
GOOD LUCK...
GOOD LUCK...

Hi there. Your Z06 looks rather exotic! You don't see too many Z06 convertibles around. The catless X-pipe might make it harder to sell for buyers in areas that require emissions testing. How many miles are on the odometer?
You seemed to be pretty thorough in your information presentation. The price? I suspect it's good, although it may take time for the right buyer to come along. Obviously, the lower the price, the quicker the sale. The profile of your future buyer....someone who appreciates unique Corvettes, who lives in an area that doesn't require emissions testing, and who loves convertibles! Best wishes, and good luck with the sale........Steve Snider
