I am a new C7 owner posting this for my friend and next-door neighbor, who does not utilize the internet. I seriously considered purchasing this gem for myself, as I know its excellent history and meticulous owner very well. I just got smitten with the C7, but I still admire this Z06 every time I see it. This C5 Corvette is going to be a tremendous find for its new owner, especially considering its babied condition and extremely low miles!
The Z06 is available for inspection in SW Washington State (15 minutes from Portland Airport). I ask that seriously interested individuals contact me via PM (private message) on this forum and I will provide you with my friend's direct contact info.
Here are a few photos. Thanks and have a great day!

Clean car, however I'd tell your friend the color isn't rare.
He might have a hard time selling it for the money he's asking (Which is C6 Z51 money, even with similar mileage)

Thanks for the feedback, "RideZX6R"... I'll certainly pass it along to my friend.
As for the "rare" comment... Listed on his paperwork was that the "combination" of Torch Red w/Black Leather interior was limited production on the Z06 for 2004. I'll ask him to verify that statement. However, for now, I'm going to edit that out of the listing, as I don't want the ad to appear misleading in any way.
As for the price... I'm quite sure he'll be willing to negotiate with interested parties. It's also important to note that the listed price includes 2 sets of Corvette wheels. He's willing to price the car with only the (black) set that's currently on the car, if someone's interested.
Thanks again for the feedback.

I'll say his price isn't as out of line as I thought (I was figuring about $4-5k too high) - NADA retail with 23k is about $27900 so it's not that bad assuming he's trying to get retail for it - Which is hard as a private seller, but doable. If the price comes down, I'd be interested and I'm in WA as well

Nice looking Z. That's a perfectly fine asking price with the 2 sets of wheels and in the condition you're saying it is. GLWS. It'll sell.

Black was the standard interior color for all C5Z's, the only option was the red highlighted interior. So it's not rare, no other color was ever offered except those two.
Nice looking Z, GLWS...

How far away, Nickr12? Do you know anyone in the Portland area who could evaluate the car for you? I'm sure my friend would entertain offers from out of the area that may require adjusting the price to account for shipping.
I once purchased a Lexus SC300 that was located in Houston and had it delivered to Portland. Of course, I had a trusted friend in Houston who was able to evaluate the car for, which worked out great.
Let me know if that may be an option for you and I'll discuss it with the owner. Either way, thanks for checking out the listing and best of luck with your search!
