2004 Z06 w/ 24k miles - IMMACULATE
CAR IS SOLD, THANK YOU FOR THE INTEREST AND COMPLIMENTS. Car went to a forum member and enthusiast.
For sale is my gorgeous 2004 Machine Silver Z06. This car has been babied and pampered by Corvette enthusiasts since day one, when it was delivered to the National Corvette Museum. 2004 is the most desirable year for the C5 Z06 (higher durometer rubber suspension bushings and revised Sachs shocks, which are a significant upgrade over the previous model years, and most importantly no issues with valve springs). Machine Silver was only available on a C5 in 2004, and less than 700 Z06s were built in this color, which makes it one of the rarest colors for a C5 Z06. The car just hit 24k miles, and is as tight as a drum. No squeaks, creeks, or rattles. The car looks and smells new. The interior is immaculate, with virtually no signs of wear...in fact, the passenger seat looks like it was never sat in. Every one of the 3 owners (elderly man who died in 2008, then his nephew bought the car, then me) of this car clearly knew how to enter and exit this car without creasing and cracking the cheap factory leather. There's no curb rash on any wheel and only light scratches underneath the front bumper. Anyone looking for a mint C5 knows these items will tell the tale of how well it was maintained. This car was loved dearly by each of its owners, and the way it runs, drives, looks, and sounds proves it.
This Z is bone stock with the exception of an ipod integration cable and a c6 shifter and shiftknob (I have the factory shifter and shiftknob in mint condition as well), both of which are essential mods for any C5. The car has always been well maintained, has documented service records, and has a clean car fax history. I have the NCM delivery documentation, both sets of keys, and the factory owner's manual. I am extremely meticulous with all my vehicles, and this one has been my pride and joy. Battery is less than 2 years old, and the super sticky and very responsive BFG G Force Rivals are just over 1 year old with less than 3k miles. This car has never been in an accident.

Been getting a lot of interest on ebay, which I find strange. I think the pictures have better resolution here. Also, this community should appreciate the nuances of this car more than the average ebay buyer.

Ebay will draw the most money. My 02 EB 33k miles with minor bolt ons went in 12 hours. I feel like guys on the forum are looking for modified cars or to "steal" a clean stock one like your.

I think it's a flat 250 for a car. But I had my phone number listed and the guy called me. We didn't use eBay so I didn't pay fees

If it isn't, it should be. I have been looking for `the one` for the past 6 years on this site, and this is in the top 3 for me. Just the wrong color for me.
Looks like a great car and the parts/car fax really checks out.
Just a meeting-and-great away from a car that should be bought.
Good luck, OP.

I actually wasn't crazy about Silver when first shopping for a Z. But the more I looked, the more I think it's one of the best colors for the C5 Z06. It goes perfectly with the stainless front grill vents, the rear brake ducts, and the speedline wheels...not to mention the FRC body style. It really makes those details pop with the color contrast.
