FS: '99 C5 Coupe - Many updates/upgrades - Cedar Park, TX - many pics
SOLD!!
Up for sale is my 1999 Corvette C5 coupe. Six-speed manual, LS6 motor, dyno'ed at 367.9 HP and 366.7 ft-lb at the wheels. Light Pewter Metallic exterior color, black interior. Many updates and upgrades - see list below.
Original owner (17 years since my wife and I took delivery at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky), never wrecked, always garaged at home, 6-speed manual transmission, Active handling, Z51 package, sport seats (power driver & passenger), AM/FM w/CD player, A/C works great - even in Austin summers.
Overall, the car has a total of 112K+ miles, but less than 25K miles since a full update and upgrade, including installation of a complete new drivetrain. The drivetrain update was performed at EnglandGreen shops in Houston, Tx (July 2010). Recent work has been by Aikman Performance Tuning and Repair in Cedar Park, Tx. Recent routine maintenance (oil change, inspections, etc.) has been by Kwik Kar Automotive in Cedar Park, Tx.
The updates, upgrades, and add-ons currently in the car include the following:
* LS6 crate motor (replaced original LS1 motor)
* RPM Level V T-56 six-speed manual transmission (replaced original transmission)
* RPM Stage 2 differential with 3.73 gear ratio (replaced original 3.42 gear ratio)
* 12mm Z06 torque tube with RPM 12mm bearing and coupler kit (replaced original 10mm setup)
* LS7 clutch and flywheel, flywheel bolts, pressure plate bolts, and pilot bearing (rated for 500+ HP)
* LS6 Master and slave clutch cylinders
* Remote clutch bleeder
* C6 Z51 sway bar with metal end links
* C6 Z06 shocks
* VaraRam B2 air intake system
* LG Street headers and cats
* Corsa Indy Pace Car cat back mufflers
* Elite Engineering 1/4" ceramic coated tunnel plate/stiffener
* 160-degree thermostat
* Earl's Solo Brake Bleeder screws
* Goodridge Stainless steel brake lines
* Leather seats and new seat foam by DJMotorsports
* Upper and lower radiator hoses
* PIAA 1100X fog lights
* Hurst short-throw shifter
* Vette Essentials custom shorty shifter boot
* Column lock bypass
* Goodyear Gatorback belts
* OE Concepts aftermarket wheels (chrome) in Z06 sizes - 18x10.5 rear, 17x9.5 front
These updates and upgrades were done with durability of the car in mind, rather than major power additions. The engine is totally stock, as I wanted it to last rather than try to be the fastest. The Vette has been my daily driver for the last few years and has proven totally reliable. This car makes either a good base for someone interested in taking its performance to the next level or "as is" for the person wanting to have a beautiful sports car that should provide many more years of enjoyment.
Recent maintenance and repair items include:
* New oil pressure sensor - July '15
* Mobil One 10W-30 synthetic oil and Wix oil filter - November '15
* New Centric cryo-treated brake rotors and Hawk street pads - September '14
* All fluids (brakes, transmission, differential) changed - September '14
* New heated O2 sensors - September '14
* New stock radiator - September '14
* Air conditioning repaired - August '14
* New Texas registration/inspection (single sticker) - October '15
I'm throwing in a 3-volume set of GM's Service Manuals to the buyer, too. Serious inquiries only, reply by PM here or by email (99c5forsale@gmail.com) with your contact info and I will be in touch.
Local sale only.

Bump for a local guy.
Plus anything done to this Vette by Aikman Performance was done right!
You couldn't have taken your Vette to a better shop. Very trustworthy owners that treat customers as number one priority.
