1998 Kenne Bell Supercharged $16k Greenville SC
The build on this car started from stock and started this summer at 120,000 miles. Car has 120,600 miles now. Car makes 472rwhp and 459rwtq. (Dyno sheet attached)
Modifications are as follows:
Engine:
-2.6l Kenne Bell Supercharger kit with a 3 7/8" pulley running 7#s boost.
-Water to air intercooler with electric pump.
-Intercooler reservoir over battery with (75water/25coolant mix).
-One month old autozone gold battery.
-Long tube headers.
-X pipe.
-No name cat back exhaust.
-Mike Norris catch can (routed correctly as a fresh air, sealed system, post throttle body, with no breathers).
-A&A crank pin kit.
-Racetronix fuel pump and booster harness.
-PCM out of a 2004 car (98 pcm bricked so I updated, gas gauge works).
-Heavy duty belt tensioner.
-Brand new aeromotive fuel regulator with gauge.
-Nice k&n filter with breather mod underneath.
-Msd 8.5mm wires.
-NGK TR6 gapped at .35
-Lucas 75# injectors (new seals).
-Aeromotive fuel rails.
Transmission/Diff:
-Monster lt1-s twin disc clutch with 18# lightweight flywheel (this clutch drives like stock but is GARUNTEED until next year under Monsters no questions 1 year plan at 700rwhp).
-When I replaced the clutch it got a new slave cylinder, pilot bearing, and throwout bearing.
-Remote clutch bleeder (the longest one they offered, can't remember length).
-Amsoil diff fluid with slip lock additive.
-Anti venom mod.
-Weighted shift ****.
-Amsoil ATF.
Suspension/Wheels:
-C6 oem wheels.
-Very new and quite amazing potenza re11 tires (245s up front and 305s in the rear).
-C6 z06 shocks.
-Lowered a bit on stock bolts.
-30mm wheel adapters/spacers in the rear (motorsport-tech).
Exterior:
-Roof, pillar and rims are plasti Dipped black with a gloss black Betty metallic flake finish (Rims are usually polished aluminum).
-Black rear diffuser overlay.
-Kenne Bell cowl hood.
-LED bulbs almost everywhere.
-Tinted windows.
-Blackout side and front markers.
-Mesh front plate cover.
-Chevrolet blue painted calipers with gloss black caliper hats.
Interior:
-Embroidered Sport Seats with power adjustments and lumbar.
-Nice pioneer head unit with neat Corvette bezel.
-Good floor mats.
Miscellaneous:
-Car has a stage 2 (progressive boost controlled) snow methanol injection kit on it, controller was bad ($150 for a new one) I have the old fried one for reference. Pump, plumbing, wiring all that is still on the car. I even have some meth/distilled 40/60 water mix you can have.
-Ton of odd stock parts you can have.
-Some extra supercharger pulleys.
-Dual gauge pillar pod.
Tuning:
-Done by Charles Barber at JR racing, car drives like stock unless on throttle.
-2 bar MAP with MAF deleted so you can up the boost without issues.
-Boost referenced fuel regulation.
Bad things:
-Drivers door has small defect, hard to explain I'll ad or send pictures of it.
-Drivers door and center console have rip (very common).
-Needs front emblem.
I built this car over the summer taking my time and now that is all done and complete I unfortunately have to sell it for something more practical. Most parts (except shocks and tires) I have listed have less than 500 miles on them, have electronic or hard copy receipts for most. Every single fluid in this car is new. I am most definitely forgetting some stuff so ask if you've got questions. Call or text me anytime at 715-864-2178, asking $16,000 Thanks!

What motor is in the car, stock?
Any internal motor work done?
What boost are you running it at now? Low(Hp?) and High(Hp?)? Does it have a boost controller? or a Turbo Timer?
The car is tuned for meth injection only?

Stock ls1 yes no internals, 7 pounds of boost as stated, low and high horsepower? The dyno sheet is attached so look at that? Boost and turbo timer? Its a supercharged car... The car is tuned with no meth because the controller is bad, as stated in the ad.

My theory is if someone is going to put the money in for a new one why not the let the next owner who will enjoy it more pick the new lid they like.

I agree. Nice looking car. I have always loved that hood. Bump for a local car that was tuned by a guy that knows what he's doing.
