Default WTB: C5 Track Car

After taking a hiatus from tracking Corvettes I'm interested in coming back to a C5. I don't care if its a coupe, FRC, or Z06 (obviously no convertibles) Looking to spend under $20k.

Looking for well prepared cars preferably ones with cooling upgrades.

Let's see whats out there!

This car will make a perfect track car. check out the engine and trans mods. You will not find a most stout bottom end and hardy trans for the money. It also has suspension built for the road course. I built this to be used a a HDPE car but have decided to move on because I spend most of my time doing SCCA RallyCross.

Are you still looking for a car? I have a 1997 C5 that is currently down in NJMP. If you are still looking I'll send you a spec sheet. If you buy I'll treat you to a track day at NJMP

I've got a 2002 Z06 nicely sorted for the track. I purchased it new in Feb. 2002. Danny Popp did the suspension. He's one of the top amateur Corvette racers/mechanics in the country. I had a Ron Davis radiator with oil cooler installed at my Chevy dealer by the Corvette mechanic. The Dealer also installed a trans cooler with pump and switch. 4 point custom welded roll bar installed by a company who does nothing but rollbars and tubular chassis. Numerous other options.
Call me to discuss. Located in northeast Ohio. 440-759-8464
