Default 2001 C5Z ( built to last!)

Like some others on this board with their highly modified C5Z's, I too am looking to step up to a C6ZR1. Allow me to preface this with the disclaimer that I do NOT need to sell this car ( I own a few). I have been eyeballing the ZR1's for quite some time and as of late they are within my reach. My description of THIS car will be brief. I can elaborate verbally over the phone if someone is truly interested. Knowing that I could never get what I have invested in the car, I am asking $30K cash.

01 C5Z 414ci Stroker.
Callies Compstar 4in crank, Weisco, fully forged 6.0 LS2. TEA stage 3 799's w ferrerra valves, BTR springs .660 lift. Harland Sharp 1.8's, C5R timing chain, UD pulley, NW C5R TB, FAST 102 (ported), ZR1 injectors, LS2 fuel rail, Walboro fuel pump, Dewitts radiator, Spal fans, Ligenfelter oil cooler, AR 1 7/8 headers, DMH elec cut outs, Corsa Indy pace car catback (tigershark), Nitrous Express kit, Leash Electronics progressive controller, LNC 2000, Ligenfelter window switch, Stand alone fuel cell ( 120oct leaded race fuel) Mcleod RXT clutch, flywheel, RPM built trans, rearend, PFADT coilovers, Sways ( front/rear), Car is making 550/520 NA, 718/732 w a conservative 175 shot. ( I could do much more) tuned for 93 octane. oil separator, catch can.

Exterior
Tigershark front, rear, hood, TPE T2 rear fenders, Weld Racing wheels, Mickey Thompson fronts,rears.. Radio Flyer HID's, fogs, LED tail lights. Eradispeed 2pc rotors

Interior
Corbeau A4's (perfect, no rips, tears) custom painted surround, MGW flat stick, DD modded bezel, C2 gauges Wideband, fuel pressure, NXpress fuel pressure gauge. brey Krause harness bar. Custom stereo ( that never gets played) HID added.

< 5k miles on build ( engine) just filled my 3rd bottle of Nitrous this week, ( second one I left open and it leaked out) Trans, rearend, nitrous system were all done in 2015. willing to take potential buyer to the shop to speak with builder, pull the history of receipts.

This car needs nothing... Cold AC in the summer, 24-25 mpg on the highway, runs cool, awesome oil pressure ALWAYS . Clean title in my name, in my possession, Have owned the car since 08 ( bone stock then w 86K mi). I have built this car to suit ME, There is not another one like it anywhere, that I have seen. I cannot drive it anywhere that people are not videoing the car, inquiring about the car, in awe of the car... It's truly a one of a kind C5Z. Please, don't waste my time or yours low balling me on this car. I am realistic and may have some wiggle room, but not much. 50 y/o, car enthusiast, 28 yrs in the Military, My word is my bond. Once you see, drive the car you will not walk away without buying it. It's that nice! Thanks for reading...

totally transparent,.... what you see is what you get.

Funny I'm thinking of selling my mod'd C5 too.
Good luck. I'm probably going with a CTS V. Got kiddos I miss driving with.

Thanks Men for the kind words..... This car has been my passion over the past 8 yrs.... I drove it yesterday and it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all just keeping it. Although the 2011-up CTSV's are bad *** cars! I have my eye on the ZR1 to replace this one "if" it sells. If it doesn't, i'll keep it and pick one up later down the road once my DD is paid off... I cannot stress enough that my Z needs absolutely nothing. Not bumping the thread... Thank you for the offers, but i'll pass...

Definitely could get 30k, you just have to market it well to stimulate interest and put it in front of enough eyes.

Thank you bud... I appreciate the positive feedback

Members such as yourself, and others who have replied in the thread as well as via pm who know these cars and know how much it costs to build them right "the first time" know their true value.

I could not put a pen to paper as to how much I have invested in this car.

I can assure anyone who is interested that if you saw it, heard it, drove it, inspected every inch of it, you would buy it. As I stated, I am totally transparent and willing to take any potential buyer to the shop who has done all of the work and put it up on a lift for inspection.

I refuse to put this car on CL.... I have posted on this forum only... If It sells, awesome. If it doesn't, then no big deal...

Since some have asked via pm... The compression is 11:1
Here is a pic of some of the parts when I was compiling them. disregard the Mantic clutch (pic) as I replaced it w about 2K mi when I added the Nitrous.

A very nice looking C5Z with tons of great mods to it. Best of luck with the sale - someone will get a well built car.

Yes it is... from about 3-4 yrs ago..... Before the build... If you would like current vids, go to youtube and type in Runway Rivalry 2015 ( Caddo Mills) or, search FB for Mexico Racing League and you can find this car running with a 975rwhp 2014 Viper TA...

Guys, have confidence when buying from Matt! He is a stand up guy and is a man of his word. I've known him for a long time and he is ocd when it comes to his car. This car is worth the money and you won't be disappointed!

Your car has always run very strong and is a strong build.
