1997 Silver 6sp Coupe (under 95000 miles / lots of upgrades)
Selling my 1997 Corvette (Silver) w./ 6sp manual transmission. I'm the second owner, never winter driven, hardly driven in rainy conditions and always garage stored (heated). It's not my daily driver, only taken out on for the occasional weekend ride and has low miles (approx. 145,000 KM / 90,000MI). All the fluids were flushed/replaced last summer (engine, trans., diff., brakes, ...), including spark plugs and wires. Tires are in good condition, definitely good for another season depending on driving style. The interior is in excellent shape, only minor stress wear on the original seats (no tear - non smoker), factory radio (disc changer) and speakers.
To add, all installation work (mods to follow below) were professionally done by reputable Corvette specialists / tuners. It was recently dyno tuned and made approx. 350rwhp (stock LS1 engine). Also had the wheels aligned for superior handling.

Note: I've included the price next to each item to give an approx price range of mods.

@ 4XLR8N: thanks for the kind words, and I really like what you've done with yours (very nice red/silver combo).
@ gimp and mild83: I meant to say under "95,000 miles". For kilometers, I've disconnected the battery (storage), but it should be in the 130-140,000KM range.

What you're seeing on the hood is the reflection of the clouds above (always used Zaino products). I can see how that could look like faded paint, but that's not the case at all. Yes, it's still available. Let me know if you have further questions.

A Zaino man! I talked to Sal Zaino over 20 years ago when you had to go to Howell Auto supply to buy the product in person. I see you have 4:10 gears and that Daytona exhaust. I guess you know what's coming.
How does the rear end affect drive ability? I do like to go on trips with the car.
How loud is the exhaust?
AND is the car reliable, does it have a lumpy idle? Oops, I don't see a cam on your list!
How low is it? Can it go back to close to stock height?
Thanks again!

I personally prefer the 4.10 over the stock gear ratio, and don't find it affects drivability. In fact, it's an improvement over stock. As a comparison, it drives similar to C5 Z06 (M12), but slightly more aggressive (especially first gear). That's the best I can describe it.
I've been on numerous long road trips and found it very comfortable. I've never encountered any issues, and would say that it's very reliable. This is a weekend vehicle (not a daily driver). To add, all fluids were replaced before winter storage and was professionally dyno tuned to ensure great street ability (including suspension work).
Concerning noise levels (exhaust), I previously had a Borla catback and found it to be on the loud side. So, after doing some research on the forum, I opted for the Corsa Daytona exhaust and don't regret that decision. Sounds absolutely awesome!
There's no lumpy idle (stock cam), the only engine modification is the FAST intake manifold.
The ride height can be re-adjusted close to factory settings, it's simply a matter of adjusting the lowering bolts (but with better bushings - urethane). No squeaks or rattles noises either.

Holy crap, awesome car. Would probably already be gone if not for the mostly American buyers and need to import it. Good luck, this is very nice.

canadian 97 coupe
Has anyone reading this bought a car from Canada into the US ?. I see EPA, EMISSIONS, and CUSTOMS following searches. There are companies that apparently do it all for a fee.
